Chapter 8
The Nine nether was a secret technique that Sin's father had left behind, he had asked for his child to be taught it but had also mentioned that he shouldn't use it as he please as it took something from the person who cast it.
Sin didn't know where the skill came from or its history all he knew was that the skill would allow him to increase the speed his body moved at along with his mind, his thoughts and speed of thinking and his perception would also be fast.
This technique would cause a strain on his body as well as consume a lot of stamina. Knowing how much strain the skill would take Sin also learned a physical enhancement skill so that he could use to help him endure the pain and even increase the amount he could increase his speed by.
Right now, without using the physical enhancement Sin could only use it ×3 but with the physical enhancement he could endure up to ×5. And without hesitation he activated both the skill as he turned to run.
Sin's muscles tightened and his veins bulged, his body had even turned a shade of crimson although not much. Sin dashed forward as he moved at speed that made it seem to like he was teleporting.
Roar!!! The beast roared behind Sin as it seemed to have reached the gift Sin had left for it. "That's a second order beasts, I thought they said there were only beasts in the first order in the green zones" Sin thought as he was hurriedly rushing through the forest.
Although Sin had crossed a long distance, he still wasn't safe as he heard the beast roar again and feel the ground tremble as the worm had dived back into the ground.
"Damn those worthless pieces of trash couldn't even delay it for that long" Sin said to himself as he gritted his teeth he felt as if the world was falling apart. In the distance on a tree stood three people one of them was Linux Cristfall the others were what was left after the had lured the beast this way. Linux was laughing out in joy as he saw Sin run for his life " Hahaha, although it's a shame those two died they managed to keep that bastard busy for the beast to reach him".
While Sin was running he knew that eventually he source would run out and when it did he would be dead meat whether he was caught by the worm that was on his tail or someone else. Sin only had about one hour until source would be depleted so before that he would have to think of a way to survive.
Countless thoughts passed through Sin's mind as he thought of a plan but non of them seemed to be good enough to allow him to survive which made the expression on his face turn grim.
After running for thirty minutes Sin was really close to the main path that should have lacked beasts completely, during the time he was getting chased he had seen several beasts run away as they saw the beast that chased him, even those that wanted to attack him had stopped and ran away.
Sin has been wandering what he had done to upset this second order beast that had made it ignore all the beasts in the surrounding and instead chase him. Sin thought that it might have had a taste for humans so he led it to the main path.
Sin didn't care about anything else as long as he could survive, so if he could meet others, he would be happy if they could distract the beast while he escaped.
Seeing the path ahead the pain that he was getting from using the secret technique lessened as adrenaline coursed through his body that his speed even increased as the hope of survival was in front of him.
The next minute Sin stepped on the path and raced along it's edge as he looked for other humans. Sin's eyes brightened as he saw a group of five that were running several meters away from him, they were running at a comfortable speed so that they didn't use too much of their stamina as they were trying to get to the academy at the top of the hill.
Sin got a bright idea as he brandished his sabers. "Hey, you guys give me a hand" Sin shouted at the top of his lungs which made the group turn their heads to look behind them only to see Sin that was quickly approaching them with his weapons out. The group then took out their weapons as well as they thought Sin wanted to attack them.
Sin had purposely slowed down as to let the beast catch up. Quickly approaching the group Sin all of a sudden sped up and ran past the group of people.
The group while shocked to see the boy who was running towards them all of a sudden disappear, they felt the ground tremble and shake, the next minute a giant worm leapt out of the ground into the sky. After jumping out of the ground the worm hadn't wasted its time as it dived back in the ground but this time it had dived into the ground after it swallowed the person in the middle of the group.
At the say time the worm had thrown up a cloud of dust, and now four people were standing in the dust cloud looking around to see what had taken their friend. "Stay calm and don't panic guys" said a boy who was holding onto a spear.
"Umm guys" said one of the girls that was wearing a robe.
"Rae shut up can't you tell were busy" said another in an almost aggressive tone.
"No guys, it's...it's." said Rae as her voice started shaking and she raised her hand to point at something. finally, the others turned around and what they saw had them frozen in fear.
In front of them stood a giant worm and although it's body was covered by the dust it's figure stood at nearly 20 feet tall with red eyes that glowed and were seen clearly through the dust.
The beast then cried out with a ferocious roar that shattered the kids hope of escape. After the roar the kid that was holding onto to the spear dropped it to the ground and ran in the opposite direction.
Just before he could get far though the beasts tail moved and hit him with a force that sent him flying and slamming into a tree, as soon as he had hit the tree all the bones in his body had turned to dust as he he turned into a blood pulp that slid down the tree leaving a blood trail.
"Whistle" Sin sitting on a tree that was three kilometers away as he saw what had just happened, "I can probably take it" Sin said and moment later all the kids had been killed almost instantly which made Sin rethink what he had just said, "on second I'll let someone else handle this" the next second he fell backwards. While falling backwards Sin cast the body enhancement and the Nine nether, rotating himself just before he hit the ground Sin had landed and created a crater that was three meters wide.
After Sin had landed he crouched and shot forward, he had survived an encounter with a second order beast due to luck."Wait till Mary hears about this hahaha!!" Thought Sin with a smile on his face as he dashed through the forest, and he would continue to running until the sense of danger he felt disappeared.
In the forest not so far away three people were walking through the forest the one at the front was a young man at the age of twelve his name was Develin Hansel he was one of the the youngest princess of the Hansel kingdom, the two that followed were Zayris Chaplin who's was the daughter of the Chaplin family that was ranked fifth of the top family rankings. The Chaplin family had always had close ties to the top families due to the businesses they conduct.
The Chaplin family was a family of woman and because of this all the top families had supported them, this group was filled with countless beauties that were both strong and lustful, with all that said it hadn't taken them long to get a footing at top five.
The other person that followed was also a female, this female was at the age of fifteen and was a servant that had been assigned to Develin her name was Summereve. All the members of this group were at the middle integration stage with Summereve being at peak of it.
While walking through the forest they had heard a loud beast roar, "Young masters that wasn't too far from here I advise we keep moving". Said Summereve.
"What nonsense is running away were in the green zone there shouldn't be anything that could harm us here" responded Develin. Develin then went to speak again and said, "Here's what I think let's go and see what the ruckus is all about" and a moment later the group had ran towards the direction of the giant worm not knowing that danger that awaited them.
