They looked at the city at their back surprised to see it obliterated. Smoke and debris could be seen everywhere. Buildings had crumbled and were black and charred. Tsuoma began to hear sounds.
Crack! Cough!
He heard a cracking sound and a feminine voice coughing. He went to the place and saw a girl in tears. A log of wood was on her leg and she was struggling with it. Tsuoma saw a dead boy near her. He was burnt to a crisp and he was clutching a bit of the girl's clothing. He had protected her. The girl began to wail and the rest of the team ran to where they were, Teruki gagged and vomited. She touched the girl and saw everything that happened to her and she also began to feel the girl's pain.
Tsuoma patted Teruki who was weeping. He touched the girl and a white magic circle appeared above her and a green light overshadowed her. Her wounds began to heal and color began to return to her cheeks. He raised her up and saw she was a little girl. "How old are you my dear?" He asked in a soothing voice. The girl looked scared and held him tight. She buried her face in his chest. "My name is Isma Seberg, I am twelve years old." She replied with tears coloring her tone. "He was your brother." He said pointing at the boy crushed underneath the rubble. Isma could only cry out.
"She has potential to grow into a strong mage, I guarantee that, take her with you." The goddess said to him from his mind.
He touched the girl's red hair. "My name is Tsuoma. Allow me to be your brother, come with me and I will protect you, my sister." The girl looked up at Tsuoma and tears began dropping from her face. He cleaned her face and smiled at her. She smiled as her cheeks took a shade of pink and she replied in the most calm and innocent voice. "Yes brother."
Agnolia waved her hand and the city began to reconstruct. The damages began to clear. Those who were only injured got up as their wounds healed up. Everything went back to normal but those that were dead couldn't be revived. She held her chest as she gasped for breath. "Healing five hundred people and restoring a thousand buildings sure can take it's toll on someone. Unfortunately I can't raise the dead." She said and stooped down. Tsuoma checked her status.

They were transported to Berserker Guild by Sasha, she did this with a magic skill of hers, all she had to do was store a place in her memory and when she wants to get there, think about it. "Carrying all of you took out all my strength, here is the basilisk head, I will join you inside." She said and gave the head to Natael who carried them carefully as if the dead basilisk still posed a threat.
Inside the guild was a lot of noise, the guild became silent when he entered with the head. They looked at him in awe. The rest came in and Sasha dragged her self inside and fell asleep on the bare floor not minding if it was dirty or not. The guild master came out with the Kitsune and his face looked disgusted. He obviously wanted them to fail the task. Tsuoma walked to the front of the vampire and looked directly at him. "We won, so I would like to tell you the things I need." The vampire smirked. "I tell you what you will do kid, if you can defeat the second strongest member here, I will give your word a consideration."
The guild members became restless as they whispered among themselves in fear. Tsuoma looked around and felt the fear of these people, the second strongest member must be really strong then but then he had a lot of crazy skill sets. Armand please do not call in the beast, you can continue giving me stupid missions but please do not let the beast fight my new friend." Natael said with fear in his tone. Tsuoma chuckled. "Hey Natael, it's okay, I can take care of myself, I will beat whoever this beast is. I promise." He said and winked though underneath he was worried. Agnolia checked his status with her appraisal eyes.
"Interesting, I can't penetrate into his stat defenses, why not boost myself up a bit." A little magic circle appeared in her right eye and she saw his status. "Fake out skill, what then is his real status, well I will find out."
The guild began to shake as footsteps could be heard, the drinks spilled and the food poured. The door was flinged away from it's hinges, the guild members shouted as a muscular man of about six feet entered inside. His chain mail was decorated with stars, his black trousers was perfectly neat and his white brouge shoes were stained with blood. A blue cape was at his back and he had a lightning scar near his left eye. His shoulder carried an orc and he dropped it down making a vibration occur around. "Mission accomplished, naw for some hot bath." "Before you go Midrash, I wanna give you a new toy to play with." "Uh, vampire, whaddya think ya doing, I can't miss me precious bath ya know." "Even if it's for a toy with wings." "A toy with wings, where's tha lucky toy?" Armand pointed to Tsuoma. "Tha kid, righto, ya kid, whaddya wanna fight, ya gonna lose ya know, I be a dragon born, you gat na chance, why doncha appo to guild master and ya don hafta be beaten." Tsuoma ignored him and punched him hard at the mouth. The big man didn't move or flinch, it looked like a paper touching a rock. "Ya wanna go." He raised his fist and punched Tsuoma's chest. Tsuoma gagged and spat out blood as he was sent through a back door breaking it apart immediately.
Crack!
The sound of bones being crushed could be heard as Tsuoma stood up weakly only to fall down again. A blur appeared to him and kicked his ribs. Tsuoma yelled in pain. Midrash carried Tsuoma and smashed his knee on his spine, he grabbed his legs and elbowed them eliciting a scream from him. He threw him up and Midrash jumped high up and using his shin kicked him down and ripping the floor apart.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Multiple sounds of crushing bones could be heard as Tsuoma tried again to stand. "I was a fool to attack without studying his status, thank goodness I have the healing skill but for now I have to avoid any of those punches or kicks, they are brutal.
He then checked out the status of the dragon born.

"He's higher than me in everything, except mana." He groaned weakly.
Tsuoma's mana was depleting fast as he used it to heal himself but the dragon born was too fast for his healing powers. Midrash carried Tsuoma from the neck and smashed him down, doing this again and again. He then threw him to some rocks. Tsuoma was fading in and out of consciousness. He then saw the panel glowing in golden colour, the golden glow covered him and all his wounds began healing up. The onlookers were surprised at what was going on. Midrash ran to punch Tsuoma but a force sent him reeling back. Tsuoma levitated up as the glow covered him. Agnolia was bemused. "My my, he sure has leveled up.

Apart from leveling up, he had also gained new powers. The aura coming from him was causing a huge wind which was tearing some things apart. His sword fell from his body as he floated up and concentrated a massive fire beam which was expanding. Agnolia was lost for words. She studied the components of the fire. "If that fire touches down, it will wipe out this city as the fire will keep on going destroying everything it touches, we have to stop him from releasing it." "How, the wind around him is causing a biting gale, no one can go near…." Natael couldn't finish his statement as a blur passed him, it was Teruki. "No, Miss Teruki, he's too dangerous to be with right now." Natael yelled.
Teruki ignored all what he said as she jumped and caught Tsuoma's leg. The wind was biting into her. Tsuoma's eyes had changed to gold and he looked at her with the death glare. She began to feel her body becoming light. "I won't let you go Tsuoma, even if I lose my life, I love you Tsuoma." She smiled and fell down limply. "Oh no, what's with that eye, Agnolia?" Emile asked shocked. "He got it from the Basilisk, he used the death glare, no one can survive from that, not even a demon." Agnolia said in concern. Tsuoma's eyes were flicking on and off and he saw Teruki on the floor gradually turning into stone. "No! Teruki!"
The fire vanished and he floated down to meet her, he touched her body and tried to resuscitate her. He began to weep heavily and then he raised his hands over her body, he used the skill purgatory of life to remove the effects of the sure kill skill. A golden glow covered her and she began to change back to normal. She opened her eyes and saw the tear stained face of Tsuoma. He raised her to his chest. "I am so glad you did not die, Teruki, thank goodness." He said hugging her tight as tears flowed freely from his eyes. Teruki looked shocked but happy, Tsuoma had saved her. She had a smile on her face.
