In this intense moment of silence, The Black Dragon stands up straight, giving everything sheer intimidation of his presence; the body of the King of Goblin was halved because The Dragon ate its upper body.
Jonathan tightened his grip on his sword as the only choice he had was to fight or get eaten by him, Mary was behind Jonathan far away – and began to approach him standing beside him, letting him know that she would help him to defeat a mighty Dragon whose gained a title of the One of Strongest Dragon. Jonathan once defeated one of them, but it was when the Dragon was off guard – thinking that they were just mere humans, but now Jonathan always using his sword the power was mind-blowing.
"Mary, i think this time we'll get serious, i've not expecting this would be happening."
Jonathan said, glancing slightly at her with a nervous and slight sweat on his face.
"I'll be using my strongest attack then."
She proclaim to use his strongest attack or abilities against the dragon, Jonathan position himself to launch straight into that dragon. When Black-Dragon turn his gaze toward them, he proceed to make a Roar loudly to them – it was strong the air begin to blow opposite, following the direction of the Roar. Tear apart several houses of Goblins and Jonathan tried to withstand using his sword attaching into the floor, Mary crouch to less knockback from the air. Just a mere sound that enough to destroyed a houses, that's only mere of his strength – worthy to have the title of Strongest. Not just given by the Human but rather the nature itself, consider he's appeared on this Dungeon it might a hint of something dangerous that even dragon that shouldn't be here. Or they enter the Dungeon to make... A nest.
The depth of the dungeon correlates directly with the increase in the number and strength of the monsters inhabiting it, as well as the quality of sustenance for the child of the most formidable dragons. Unfortunately, this information remains unknown to humans, resulting in significant peril for those who dare to enter the domain where dragons nest.
In a remarkable display of speed, Jonathan propelled himself toward the head of the Black Dragon, exhibiting capabilities that surpassed the speed of light. However, he was confronted with a startling revelation: the Black Dragon effortlessly evaded his attack by a mere turn of its head. This reaction transcended the limits of light-speed, leaving Jonathan in a state of astonishment; he had never witnessed a creature capable of such agility. Upon landing on the opposite side of the dragon, he crouched in disbelief, acutely aware of the intensity that this confrontation would entail.
Mary, observing this exchange, took a moment to reflect. She consciously suppressed her fears, cognizant that such emotions could render her vulnerable. Unfortunately, she recognized that her skills and abilities did not approach the threshold of light speed, potentially rendering them ineffective in this encounter. She feared that, much like Jonathan's initial attempt, any offensive action she might take would be evaded with ease, as if she were merely throwing small balls.
She need a plan like a traps or something that will effectively harm the Dragon, she keep think and think what abilities that equal to speed of light and the destruction enough to harm the Dragon, meanwhile the Dragon was focusing Jonathan that keep attacking him. He easily dodges all Jonathan's attack while Jonathan was struggling to surpassing his reaction, everything he has trained about would crush under the strength of Black-Dragon. Jonathan again launch an attack – jump to mid air to strike his powerful power, suddenly a claws appeared right next to him, slamming him hard into the ground creating a massive hole of crater where he was slammed to. His injuries immediately healed but the pain still felt throughout his body, Jonathan couldn't react that attack – it was to fast for him to dodge that.
He panted, his stamina slowly decrease from all of his attack against Black-Dragon, which isn't working, he stand up trembling keeping steady his position but it felt impossible. Now, this is the first time Jonathan feel about exhausted in battle, the monster began to open his mouth widely, inside of his mouth a particles of fire slowly appearing, turning into a some molten-fire. Hot enough to melt a adamantium itself.
"He's going to use it... I need to get out of here."
Jonathan felt feared and anxious as if he missed a single second – he would die; the Dragon breathed a fire, melting everything in its path, and nothing could stop that fire from his target. Jonathan saw in terrified and quickly jumped to the side – safely dodging fire of breath. He looked back to see a pool of molten melting the floor like a paper. The Dragon once again prepared his fire breath to shoot toward Jonathan, a literal murderous intent and something unbelievable – a protective intent on Dragon's eyes. It meant that he needed to kill them for the food and also protect his nest, the Dragon aimed Jonathan while he was running – but before he could release his strike, a beam struck directly at him, clearly surprised by a sudden attack causing a slight injury to him but his shell protected him from that attack, he slowly turned his focus on whos attacked him and when he sees, it was Mary Carter. Mary found a magic that could harm The Black Dragon but not lead to heavy injuries, the magic was 'Tôhrask' which let the user use a light element combined with a dark element turning into something like a beam of pitch black and white-void that can alter all defense and able to change the direction to which can change the casuality too, with capabilities to pierce through everything in it's path and sustain heavily damages to a target. Not only that, this magic is capable of nullifying all regeneration that is going to heal the injuries and into the level of molecules.
What a unbelievable to see The Black-Dragon still able to withstand her skill in standing tall, like it was nothing but mere scratch because of his thick shell made in nature but with unknown particles of how the shell has extraordinary durability. Mary kept attack the Dragon with all her power, but the shell reflecting evey magics that equal to level-100, mostly a GrandMaster level above the Master mage. Her attack was only made the Dragon anger and annoyed – in such weak attack cannot stand a chance against his shell, The Dragon counter her attack using his own casted magic – appearing bunches of magic circles near him, strange visual and magical structure were different than her, she never seen that structure of his magic on her entire life. Might resemble as a different level of her and The Dragon, those magic circles began to shot toward Mary whose stunned by much different level, she snap out and look at all of those magics going straight at her, Mary jumped from her previous position to avoid Dragon's attack.
The magics strike and blows up in massive explosion, shaking the floor from the explosion which made her fell down to the floor from vibration made by the explosion, she hardly stand up due to receive several injuries she got from his attack. Although she hasn't given up yet, proceeding to stand up despite her whole body shiver along with her legs trembling in shock and fear.
"Damn it... Why does he able to used that kind of high-magic."
Mary found herself questioning her understanding of the situation, as she had never encountered a dragon capable of wielding its own magic. She became transfixed by the creature, but an overwhelming sense of fear and danger washed over her, suggesting imminent death. A powerful and formidable aura of mana enveloped the dragon's body, providing a considerable defensive barrier and augmenting it's physical capabilities. This state of heightened readiness also activated the dragon's latent magical abilities, triggered by its growing annoyance at Mary's interference in its battle with Jonathan. The inhabitants of the dungeon also sensed a profound fear emanating from the dragon's immense presence; even the Mini-Bosses and Bosses within the floor wished to avoid confrontation with the Black Dragon.
As the Black Dragon readied to unleash a series of magical attacks toward her, Mary found herself unable to evade the onslaught due to the depletion of her own mana from her previous exertions skill, Tôhrask. Exhausted and fatigued, she struggled to maintain her vision, which was becoming increasingly blurred. The sounds around her began to fade, and she barely registered the impending attack from the dragon, feeling as though she could not narrowly escape death. Her body began to kneel, her complexion pale as she struggled to breathe heavily in an attempt to remain conscious, before ultimately collapsing to the floor in an unconscious state.
Simultaneously, the dragon concentrated it's mana within a magic circles, preparing a devastating spell intended to annihilate Mary completely. Observing this, Jonathan quickly erased those magics out, in same time, he'd quicken his pace intended to attack him and drawing focus towards him again. But the magic circles keep appearing near him, Jonathan use another powerful attack – a hard shell reflected his attack again, he sees that his attempt are fail so he had another choice but to use Constant's abilities, a glowing and bright blue illuminate Constant Sword, he raise and point his hand to direction of Black-Dragon, then out of nowhere a explosions blasted directly into Black-Dragon's body.
"Take that!"
He screamed, shockingly, his attack was effective – piercing through its shell like it was nothing. The Black Dragon screamed in pain, which coursed through his body as a relentless explosion blasted through his defense. Stunned the Dragon in place he uses this chance to dash toward him, instantly in the Dragon's head level. Jonathan manages to exceed the term of Faster than the Speed of Light; in no time, Jonathan slashes through his head – slamming down the far below the floor, which, completely makes a massive hole beneath them.
A silence in chaos was devastated; all the damage nearby was too much, but his priority was Mary. Jonathan immediately turned around and ran toward Mary's unconscious body, checking out her condition. Her breath was steady and slightly hard – her face still pale while her eyes closed; Jonathan sheathed his sword – and looked right and left, making sure around him was safe. Jonathan worried to see her such pale face visible – like dead body, he sat next to her laying prone body in vast room. Scents of blood, dead bodies, and corpses all over the room, it was bad and disgusting smell of those – always corpses of goblin are much and much disgusting even when someone has smell of it they immediately vomitted. Jonathan was in amidst of that – enduring the scent on such long time, he received a power by the Sacred Orb enchanted his physical form and spiritual form. So he could endure it longer than any possible human do, for now, he need to rest from intense battle for first time he had.
Time continued to pass, Jonathan even prepared food for him and Mary Carter who was unconscious, waiting for her to wake up and Jonathan never left his friend. The room was getting darker, almost all the light coming out of this room was getting dimmer. Since all the residents had fled or died, it was probably already night outside. But that was just speculation on his part.
The things that led to their meeting have already become Jonathan's experience, he will understand and if it happens again - he will anticipate so that there are no casualties between them.
Of course, facing a Black-Dragon is like facing death, yes, he is very strong, even though it is not his full strength, it's just that he doesn't use all the strength he has. Jonathan ate his food slowly and enjoyed it. At that time Jonathan fed Mary's mouth carefully. After that, he rested and slept – waiting for what would happen once they awake and goes descend to next floor.
The next day, Mary first woke up from her sleep – seeing her surroundings as usual; lots of carcasses and pools of blood everywhere. She happen to see Jonathan peacefully sleeping in prone – where he hugging his Constant Sword in entire night, there's several cooking ware; frying pan, kitchen knife, two dirty dishes, a pan, and multiple burned woods in circle of rocks. She unaware that these corpse's smell was disgusting and when she sniffed the air polluted by those scent, she immediately covered her mouth clearly disgusted by the smell, she felt that she will throw out from of that. In that moment Mary can't notice where Jonathan deeply sleeping like he was unaffected by the scent of it.
She jealous by his endurance to even unaffect in amidst a terrible scene and disgusting, Mary slowly crawl toward Jonathan who was sleeping on recumbent. She shake his body softly but it takes more than that, so she increasing the shaking intended to wake him up so they can leave this disgusting place.
"Come on Jonathan, wake up already!"
Mary keep shaking his body desperately – she cannot hold or wait any longer in this room, she doesn't like it in here. Her effort was success as Jonathan slowly opened his eyes – ascended his upper body and yawned tiredly.
"Hm? Oh Mary, you've awake."
He said while turning his head to look at her, his eyes are half close but he can still see her in blurry vision. In his vision he sees Mary on crawl position while her head arise to stare at him, she begin to sit and said,
"Jonathan, can we go out from this place? I can't hold this smell anymore."
Her tone like pleading to him, her finger pinch on her nose to cover from those scent, Jonathan wipe his face with his hand – the blur began to fade away and Jonathan can see everything clearly.
"Alright alright, Mary, let me take these cooking ware first then we leave."
He reassures her to wait for while – he needed to take his own tools into Dimensional Storage, after while, he done placing back his tools inside Dimensional Storage – closing it and proceed to tell her that he is done. Mary approach him slowly, keeping pinch her nose to not smell the disgusting scent.
"Let's go, Jonathan."
Her voice was low due her breath was cut off and it's harder to breathe using mouth, They walked out of the place, back into the dark hallway. They take various paths, sometimes they get the wrong path or dead end, indeed this level is a complex labyrinth with base monsters that they have not yet met. Often they also meet monsters with scary shapes, but that is a common thing that happens in Dungeons, they keep walking for hours, of course they rest for a while and continue their exploration.
On the same day, all the Demons had invaded various kingdoms easily, because the Hero and his friends were being treated and recover from their injuries. Every kingdoms now formed an battalion that specializes at engaged fight against Demons, those battalion are called 'The Slaughter Demon Knight' where they're fearlessly attack without any hesitate, but do not fear as they intelligent was high enough to equal to Commander of battalion along with their fighting skill. Back to Jonathan and Mary, they were still exploring the same level, they didn't think that this level was much wider than the previous level, but they didn't find the monsters that usually roam around, this phenomenon made Jonathan and Mary always alert - monsters with an extraordinary intelligence, thus making this place very dangerous.
Jonathan uses Scan of World to
detected the presence of others, and once again he found no air or presence of monsters at this level. So, their journey was very quiet and peaceful with a very intense atmosphere, many carcasses and bones were scattered on the floor, some were mossy. 2-5 days, they were still on the same floor, they also managed to find several monster bases while they were exploring. Although they found a base, they did not find the stair that leading to the next floor.
"Jonathan, when do we reach the next floor. It been 5 days since we encounter the Black-Dragon."
She complaints, how long they had been in the same place for 5 days, not only that, Mary felt that when the bases had been destroyed by them, the monsters that survived from destruction made by them would not want to meet Jonathan and Mary. Of course, what else, they were the ones who destroyed their city. A few moments later, after exploring for a very long time, they found the stairs in question, and the stairs were the same as the previous stairs which took the adventurers to the lower floor.
"Oh there's the stair."
Jonathan said, pointed his index finger toward the entrance of stair, Mary relief that they will proceed onto next floor where unknown dangerous might occurred and attack them.
"Finally! Come on Jonathan, i'm tired of this level."
She said, grabbing Jonathan wrist and walks straight into the stair – forcefully follows her from behind, now, they arrive on level 26 with environment of rocks wall and yet another endless labyrinth, there's some additional woods attached between the walls and ceilings, it's like this place was an miner places to collect some ore within it. But, this was only a design made by Dungeon itself, a mere high level of adventurers has highly chance for them to die inside, thus it's like an impossible for miners to enter unless have a experience adventurers where already counter Dungeon. Jonathan sees some rails and some mine-carts filled with coals, he approaches and took some of the coals into his Dimensional Storage.
When Jonathan taking some coals, Mary decided to explore little bit but not far enough. She found a tiny crystals on edges of walls and floor, the colors was beautiful – an cyan that appears to illuminate, it's bright. Mary astonished by the crystals – she curious and her finger slowly going to touch the crystals, then her finger touched it – feeling the cold and solid material when she touches, her face began to turn like a excite child – wanted to have what she want. Mary looks Jonathan and begin to pleading,
"Jonathan, could you please help me to get this thing?"
Jonathan whose almost finish taken the coals heard Mary calling his name, he turned and saw Mary pointing her index finger to that crystals while her head are directed toward Jonathan, Jonathan sigh by her behavior and approaching her to get the crystal for her. He use Constant Sword as like a shovel – digging deeply then arise his sword which made the crystal throw out and dropped down in front of Mary. She picked it up into Mary's eyes – when it took closer to look, she sees the inside of crystals; there's flow of mana moving in any random direction, it's trapped inside of it.
This crystals is perfect for creating Mid-Mana recovery potions, she thought in her mind. Glancing Jonathan while he was minding to himself – looking around to see whether theres any good material or not, with his intelligent and mastery of crafting a potion, she could have much more than Mid-Mana recovery potions. But it's not likely be effective than his high-potions – Täzk, where his potions are capable more than any rare and high potions do, it's like a one potions contain all kind of potions in entire world. But, she has 10 of Täzk potions given by Jonathan, enough to support her whole 5 days.
Jonathan begin to walked forward deeper into the cave, with Mary also follows him from behind – she placed the crystals into her backpack. About 21 minutes later after arrived on floor 26, they once again counter new monsters; it appears to like a grey-rock crab and there is some crystals attached above its shell, description of the monster is still unknown due to have no information in this Dungeon environment. It is also made whole adventurers dies horribly and sometimes missing, Jonathan step forward into detection range of the monsters, the presence of Jonathan made them to focus at him and attack, Jonathan stood in awe – looking those bunch of crabs approaching him in slow speed, he sigh that if he just standing still, it will be waste of time. Then, he decided to just strike them in one attack. In swift dash he pierces through them like casuality was irrelevant in its swift, simple attack results dangerous attack.
They continue to goes deeper into the level, Each step followed by another step, as well as sounds that made them intense and the air seemed to harden, they had come this far. They also have to know all the information that is still mysterious in this Dungeon, so that protocols can be created to help adventurers. However, they only reached the 26th floor, there were 74 floors left. It's still a long time, like it or not, they have to speed up their exploration. So, instead of using hints on the path that would normally go astray, Jonathan used the power of the Constant Sword – guiding them in the right direction. Instantly a light-blue line appeared in front of them.
"Mary, it looks like this exploration will take a long time, so by following this line, we will quickly go to the deepest floor."
Mary rested her hands on her waist and responded.
"Okay Jonathan, I've had enough of this Dungeon. And I won't come here again."
Mary complained again as they followed the line, step by step, finding a staircase down to the 27th floor. The line still led them quickly to the 100th floor, providing a fast and safe route. They descended floor by floor in short intervals, and following the line proved to be effective and useful. Within five hours, they reached the 67th floor, where the environment resembled a desert temple, filled with scattered sand. Jonathan felt it was too fast for them to have reached this level using Constant Sword's abilities in just five hours.
They decided to take a short break before continuing their descent. Jonathan always prepared their meals—Mary wanted to help in the kitchen, but she knew she wasn't as good as he was. Worried that her cooking might turn out badly, Mary chose to read her books and wait for the meal Jonathan had prepared.
Once they finished resting, they continued their exploration with full stomachs. The light from Mary's Orb illuminated their surroundings as they walked casually, yet remained alert; a powerful monster could appear at any moment without warning. With their considerable experience, they could easily navigate areas filled with monsters and defeat them swiftly and efficiently.
Exactly ten hours later, they faced the Floor Boss on the 75th floor. Unafraid, they stood their ground—this Boss was not as formidable as the Black Dragon. They launched their attacks from all sides, transforming the arena into a whirlwind of movement. Remarkably, they defeated the Floor Boss in just twelve minutes.
Once the Floor Boss was vanquished, a treasure chest slowly opened, revealing a wealth of riches: piles of gold coins, various types of potions, and books containing different forms of magic. Each spell required a specific level to be unlocked, ensuring that only those of the appropriate strength could wield the magic.
Her gaze was fixed intently on the book. She grabbed it and opened the pages, hoping to uncover some useful magic within. Her eyes widened in surprise and shock; this was not what she had expected. The book contained information about a magic called Yôrhksh—a dark elemental magic capable of consuming an entire kingdom. Its power increased with mastery and level. One form of this magic materialized as a dark fireball skill, which could be shot at a target, nullifying all durability and negating any protective spells. Anything struck by the fireball would immediately disintegrate into ashes. To wield this skill required level-300 dark magic capabilities.
The book also detailed another type of magic: Arhovk, a powerful wind magic that could summon vast tornadoes. Like the dark magic, the strength of this wind attack increased with the user's level. Additionally, the user could manipulate the wind into a sword, which was far stronger than any ordinary blade; even steel would be sliced through like paper.
However, she discovered that her current level was insufficient to access the next pages, as the text appeared extremely blurry, with no identifiable words. Despite this limitation, she felt capable of using the two magics she had already encountered, which would be sufficient for offense or defense.
Meanwhile, Jonathan raised a sword and analyzed its status. It was identified as a Magic Sword, a rare item to find that, while it is far inferior to the Constant Sword in terms of power, would still make a valuable addition to his collection. He opted to place it into his storage with the rest of his items instead of discarding it.
He look at Mary who's still gazing upon the book, clearly see that she was trying to figure out how to make those word visible, thought it's impossible to do so unless it reach the requirement. Jonathan walk closer to her, curious what she's doing because she was to focus into it, he peek behind her – sees to what seems a information about magic.
"Mary, are you alright? You seem too focus on something."
He said in confusion, Mary whose too focused on the book that she held, immediately jumped in surprise when Jonathan's sound heard near her, she didn't notice his presence at all, due to fact that Mary was too focus on one object that all environment near her was seems to be gone, like it's empty void that left only her and the book she held.
"Jonathan! Don't scared me like that!"
She annoyed while Jonathan only scratched his back head and apologize to her from his action,
"Sorry Mary, i just curious about how intense you've looked at that book. And i don't mean to scared you or something."
Mary exhaled deeply, placing her hands on her waist as she gazed up at him, choosing once again to extend her forgiveness. She proffered a book to Jonathan, contemplating that if he were truly curious, he might explore its contents himself. Jonathan accepted the book and began to leaf through its pages, which contained various pieces of information regarding magical skills, available to those who met specific requirements. He examined the clearly articulated text detailing the fundamentals of particular types of magic. As he continued to read and turn the pages, he realized that most of the magical concepts presented were relatively elementary to him. With his mastery of Constant Sword abilities, he had already surpassed these skills in terms of both mana capacity and destructive potential.
As he continued to search for a unique or previously unknown magical skill, his efforts were rewarded with the discovery of a technique he had never encountered before. This magic was more powerful than all the skills outlined in the book, showcasing a structure that diverged significantly from elemental or basic components. His curiosity piqued, Jonathan's eyes widened as he absorbed the words on the page. The skill, known as 'Norlahvort,' operates independently of the natural laws governing the earth, able to damage the fundamental structure of all particles in its path.
According to the text, when activated, this skill renders what is deemed impossible achievable, even allowing for manipulation of time and the cause-effect relationship. It functions as both a defensive and offensive capability. In terms of defense, it generates an unknown invisible material or transforms an enemy's attack into something advantageous for the user. Although the skill possesses certain limitations that prevent it from exceeding its threshold, it remains exceptionally powerful within its constraints. Additionally, the phrase 'damaging the very structure of particles' indicates its capacity to penetrate any defense or durability an adversary may possess. Furthermore, it can be adapted to an area-of-effect attack, enabling it to affect multiple targets simultaneously.
Jonathan know that this skill will become a handy skill later on, so he sees the requirements and Jonathan already met those without him knowing. Mary waiting Jonathan to given back her book, notice of how Jonathan read the book on pages that she can't even read due to blurry words. She rush toward him and tucking down the book and shout in surprise.
"Jonathan! A-are you able to read these words?!"
She asked him, desperately to know why he is able to see those texts while Mary couldn't even read that blurry text. She doesn't realize these blurry were resemble as a redacted to prevent low level mages uses the magic, the dangerous when low level mages use those magic are very high, there's even casualties before. Thus, Overseer of Mage made a system to prevent them learning a high level magic skills. And yet Jonathan wasn't a mage either but he can see the texts in section of high level magic list.
"Yeah? Is that bad?"
He asked back, his knowledge about magic was little – he choose to be the adventurer so he learned about fighting style and some buff skill magics or some useful magic, not entirely learn all of different magic. That's Mary do, she dreamed about becoming one of Overseer of Mage. The most admire level of mages and strongest mages in Human history, thus, Mary determine to became what she dream. She learn the very basic structures of magic skill into advance structure, her talent is was awesome. She adapt every magic once she's learned about it, like she can copies the magic.
"Well is not bad a thing, but how?! How do you able to see that?"
She replied, still questioning him about the possibility of him manage to surpass the redacted system. Jonathan still confused so he asked her again,
"I don't know, is these text should suppose to be unable to see?"
"Of course! When i see the texts it become extremely blurred."
She replied to his question again, she glance at the page – still blurred in her perspective, she's annoyed with this blur thing. She was excited and anticipated to learn and master the magic lies within the blurry, Jonathan realize something. When she claim that she unable to read the texts that are clearly visible on Jonathan's perspective, he notice that there's some requirements information and those word become green. He speculate he's meet the requirements to master this magic, and maybe that is the reason Mary perspective was blurred unless she were meet those requirements or above it. With that speculation, Jonathan explain to Mary the reason of it. Also he tells those requirements to Mary, and she finally knows why she see a blur texts.
"Oh... That's make sense, my current level was lev-109. Well thank you for that information."
She step back from him, Mary was disappointed due her level and mastery of magics wasn't enough to reach those, no, she won't give up, she will practice her magic again and kills some monster to level up. Jonathan give the book back to her, then he walk pass her – reassuring her that one day, she will able to learn that magic.
"It's okay Mary, you'll be able to use all of the magic within those pages. You just need to train hard and don't give up."
Mary acknowledged Jonathan's advice by placing her book into her backpack and following him closely. She resolved to remember Jonathan's guidance and demonstrate her capabilities and potential. As they prepared to exit the Boss Floor's room, Jonathan began to experience a sense of unease within his body. It felt akin to illness, yet it was distinctly different. This sensation intensified, causing him to feel increasingly distressed; he experienced a slight panic and attempted to employ the abilities of his Constant Sword. Unfortunately, these attempts were unsuccessful, leaving Jonathan bewildered, as it seemed inconceivable that his sword would fail him.
After ten minutes, the discomfort gradually subsided and ultimately vanished. This left him in a state of confusion and apprehension, as he pondered the potentially dangerous implications of the sensations he had experienced. Even the abilities of Constant had been ineffective in assisting him.
Nevertheless, he needed to direct his focus toward exploring and conquering the dungeon. Unbeknownst to him, the strange feelings he had encountered were actually the powers and abilities of Constant merging with Jonathan's soul, forming an independent entity. Consequently, he no longer needed to rely on the abilities of Constant, as they had become inherently integrated with his essence. As a result, the Constant Sword had reverted to being an ordinary sword.
