A farmer named Mr. E was harvesting his corn with his tractor in his cornfield when it started to get dark. When it got dark, Mr. E went inside his house. Then, something with two big hairy legs came to Mr. E's farm and growled near his cornfield. Then Mr. E's lights started to flicker, and then they turned off completely. Then Mr. E stepped outside to reset the breaker with a flashlight, but then his flashlight started to flicker, and it went out, too. Then Mr. E began to hear a humming sound, and a green light flashed over his farm. Once he saw the green light, he saw a UFO fly over his farm, and he started to panic. Then, he ran into his cornfield to hide from the UFO. Once he got there, the monster snuck up from behind him, and Mr. E started to hear breathing coming from behind him. He turned around, saw the beast and the monster roared at him. Once it did, Mr. E screamed and ran for his life.
The next day, The Clue Crackers were having breakfast at a diner together. Brad read the paper and saw a story about Mr. E's farm on the front page. While Brad was reading, Judy spotted someone peculiar in the diner and kept her eyes on him. Brad said, "Guys, I think we have a case. A farmer claims he saw a spaceship over his farm and a monster in his cornfield last night. The address is listed here. I say we check it out. All in favor?" Brad, Cassidy, and Ricky all said, "I." Brad said, "Judy?" Judy was still staring at the mysterious guy in the diner, and Brad wondered what was bothering her. Judy said, "Shush. Look." The Clue Crackers looked ahead and saw the guy Judy spotted leaving the diner. Brad said, "So?" Judy said, "There was something weird about him. But I can't quite place it." Brad said, "Ok? So, do you favor checking out the case on the farm?" Judy said, "Sure."
The Clue Crackers went to Mr. E's farm, knocked on his door, and Mr. E answered. Mr. E asked, "Do I know you?" Brad said, "Um, no. I'm Brad. This is Judy, Cassidy, Ricky, and Jake. We're The Clue Crackers, and we came here to investigate your case. Mr. E said, "Really?" Cassidy said, "Yes. We don't think you saw a UFO and a monster. But if you did, we would like to collect some evidence." Mr. E said, "Fine, you can look around my farm." Brad said, "Ok, Judy, Jake, and I will check out the cornfield, hoping Jake can track down the monster. Cassidy, you and Ricky check out the scene where the UFO was cited and see if you can find any evidence." The Clue Crackers then split up and went to look for clues to their mystery. Brad and Judy followed Jake, who was sniffing around for the monster. Then he barked, and Brad and Judy ran up to him. Once they did, they found footprints leaving the cornfield. Brad got down on his knees and took a picture of the footprints. Then he found some black hair on the ground, picked it up, and looked at it. Brad said, "Maybe Cassidy can tell what kind of hair this is." Brad then put the hair in an evidence bag and put it in his backpack along with the picture he took of the footprints. Judy said, "Let's follow the footprints and see where they go." Brad said, "Ok." Brad, Judy, and Jake started to follow the footprints while Cassidy and Ricky investigated where the UFO was sited. While looking around, Cassidy found something like salt on the ground. Cassidy put a sample in a small glass container and into her backpack.
Meanwhile, Brad, Judy, and Jake were still following the footprints. They followed them out of the cornfield and to a wired fence, where they saw Mr. E's tractor in pieces and the wall busted. Brad looked at one part of the tractor and saw claw marks on it. Brad said, "Hey, check this out. Claw marks." Judy grabbed one of the wires on the fence, looked at it, and saw it looked like something chewed through it. Judy said, "And check this out: bite marks." Brad took pictures of the claw marks, bite marks, and broken tractor pieces and put them all in his backpack with his photo of the footprints. Once they had collected enough evidence, The Clue Crackers regrouped, thanked Mr. E for letting them look around, and left in their van.
Once they left, they returned to Arizona's town and went to dinner at a pizza parlor. While they were eating, it started to get dark, and something with two big hairy legs marched over the bank, growling. The next day, The Clue Crackers read the paper and read that there was a mysterious burglary at the bank last night. Brad, Judy, Ricky, and Jake headed to the bank and searched for clues while Cassidy stayed behind and tried to identify the claw and bite marks Brad and Judy found on Mr. E's farm. Brad, Judy, Ricky, and Jake went to the bank, and the security guards let them into the vault to investigate. Judy said, "So, someone just stole all the money and vanished?" The security guard said, "Yep. We searched the whole place from top to bottom, not one shred of evidence." Brad asked, "What about this?" Brad picked up a piece of hair on the vault's floor, brought out his evidence bag, and saw it matched the hair he found in the cornfield. Brad said, "This is the same kind of hair I found in the cornfield. So, whoever or whatever did this was the same thing that scared Mr. E." Judy handed Brad one end of her measuring tape, and they measured the width of the vault. The security said, "That's not necessary. This room is a perfect square. It's 10 ft by 10 ft." Judy asked, "Is that so?" The security said, "Yep." Judy said, "Well then, you might want to check your math because the width of this vault is only 9.7 feet. That makes it 3 inches off from a perfect square." Brad said, "That's got to fit in somehow." Brad, Judy, Ricky, and Jake left the vault and decided to review the case. Brad asked, "Ok, what do we have? Something hairy attacking a farm and a bank." Judy said, "The bank's vault that was robbed was 3 inches off and wasn't broken into; all the money just vanished." Cassidy said, "I analyzed the claw and teeth marks you found, and the funny thing is they don't even belong to extinct creatures. The only thing that registered positive were unproven creatures. Like The Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and Aliens. They can be real; they're just unproven." Ricky said, "Don't forget about the UFO flying over Mr. E's farm. How does that tie in?" Brad said, "I don't know, but I feel that UFO will reappear."
Once nightfall came, The Clue Crackers had a stakeout in their van to see that monster for themselves. They kept watch for hours, but then Judy, Cassidy, Ricky, and Jake all fell asleep, but Brad kept an eye on things. He yawned and then went to sleep himself. While they were asleep, the monster came by the diner, broke into it, and ate almost all the food in it. While The Clue Crackers were sleeping, they started to hear roaring coming from inside the diner, so they woke up, got out of their van, and saw the diner's door was broken down. They went into the restaurant and heard roaring from behind the counter, so they went to the kitchen and tried to find the monster. They peered inside the refrigerator and saw that all the food was gone and the beast wasn't in the kitchen. Brad said, "He's got to be here somewhere. Cassidy, you and Jake guard the exit and make sure he doesn't get away. Judy, Ricky, and I will keep looking around the kitchen for clues to where he could have gone." Cassidy and Jake guarded the exit, and Brad, Judy, and Ricky looked around the kitchen for clues. Brad looked in the refrigerator again and knocked on the walls, thinking a secret passage was inside. Judy checked out the counter and found a dollar bill on the ground. Judy picked up the bill and put it in her pocket. Ricky looked in the janitor's closet and found a secret tunnel leading underground behind it.
Ricky said, "Hey guys, look what I found." The Clue Crackers regrouped and saw a secret underground tunnel in the janitor's closet. Brad said, "I bet this is where he went. He's not getting away this time." The Clue Crackers walked down the tunnel with their flashlights. Ricky said, "Don't vampire bats live in caves like this." Brad said, "No, just spiders and snakes." The Clue Crackers found another door in the cave, opened it, and when they walked out of it, they saw they walked out of the refrigerator of a house. Judy said, "Looks like we're in some kind of kitchen." Brad opened the closet while they were in the kitchen and saw it was empty except for one shelf. Brad grabbed the paint sprayer on the shelf and looked at it. Brad said, "A paint sprayer? Could be a clue."
The Clue Crackers went into the next room and saw it was the living room. Cassidy said, "Whoever owns this place must have spent a fortune on it." Brad said, "Hey, check this out." Brad picked up the newspaper on the table and read the front page. Brad said, "Look, UFO cited over city farm. And the story is circled." While they were looking around, the lights started to flicker. Judy asked, "Hey, what's with the lights?" Then the power went out. Ricky said, "Oh dear." Then a green light flashed in the windows, and The Clue Crackers looked out. Then they saw a UFO fly overhead and screamed in terror when they saw it. Then they ran out the door screaming while the green light flashed. Then they ran away from the UFO screaming, and while they ran, Judy ran into some red gunk and started to leave red footprints while she ran. Then they all ran down an alley and hid there.
Once the green glow vanished, they emerged from hiding and saw the UFO was gone. Then they walked out of the alley, and Judy started leaving red footprints as she walked until all the red paint got off her shoe. While they were walking, someone in a hoody spotted them and saw them leaving. The next day, The Clue Crackers went to the bank and spoke to the bank's president. Judy showed him the dollar she had found on the diner's floor, and he recognized it. The bank president said, "No doubt about it, this is one of ours." Judy said, "That means it's a clue." Brad said, "Too bad we don't know who dropped it." Cassidy said, "No, but we'll find out." The Clue Crackers left the bank and then got attacked by someone in a ninja suit. He jumped and then kicked Brad away. While he was attacking, Cassidy hid and videotaped him, hoping it would give them a clue. Judy ran for it, but the ninja jumped over her head and tripped her. Then he grabbed her and threw her at Ricky. Jake then hit the ninja away, and he landed on the ground. Then, The Clue Crackers ran for it, and the ninja ran in the opposite direction.
The Clue Crackers walked back to their van, walked inside it, and caught their breaths. Cassidy said, "That was a close call." Brad said, "I wonder why that guy attacked us anyway." Judy said, "Maybe he was the perp. And he knows we're onto him." Cassidy said, "If someone is onto us, we better be careful." Cassidy then plugged her video camera into the TV they had in their van, and they watched the tape of the attack. They saw the ninja attacking them, except for Cassidy, who was videotaping the whole thing. Brad said, "Wait a minute. Rewind and pause." Cassidy rewound the tape and played it back. Brad said, "There. Pause it."
Cassidy paused the tape when the ninja jumped over Judy's head. Brad pointed at the shop next door to the bank and saw the ninja was guarding it like he didn't want The Clue Crackers anywhere near it. Brad said, "There. The ninja was guarding." Judy said, 'Most likely because he didn't want us snooping around there." Ricky read the sign and said, "Supermarket of Fictional Things?" Cassidy said, "Worth a look." Judy said, "I've got a better idea. We'll wait until tonight. And maybe we'll get a visit from our friend tonight." The Clue Crackers were sound asleep in their van, and when it got dark out, the monster came to The Supermarket of Fictional Things. Once the beast broke the door open, a cage dropped down on him. Brad said, "We got him." The Clue Crackers cast their flashlights on the cage and saw the monster inside. Cassidy said, "We got the monster." Then they heard a voice and looked to their left. The voice said, "You fools will never capture Bigfoot." Ricky said, "Don't tell me there are 2 of them." Cassidy looked in the cage and saw it was empty. Cassidy said, "Look, the one in the cage is gone." Brad snapped his fingers and said, "Rats, I would have bet anything we had him." The Clue Crackers then heard the alarm in the store go off. They looked in the window but didn't notice anything missing.
The next day, The Clue Crackers returned to the store and asked the manager if anything was missing. The manager said, "Yes. The book on Bigfoot." The Clue Crackers left, and Cassidy looked back. Cassidy said, "The store manager is the only one who could have opened the back door, stole the book, and got out the same way without us noticing. He could be a suspect." Judy said, "Mr. Shiplap?" Cassidy said, "Yep." Brad said, "But that still doesn't explain how we were able to catch the Bigfoot and not notice it escape without breaking the cage." Cassidy said, "We'll have to figure that part out later. Right now, we need more clues." Brad said, "I say we split up. Cassidy, Jake, and I will investigate the clues we have and see if we can connect any of them. Judy and Ricky, you two go to Mr. Shiplap's office and see if you can find anything. We'll keep in touch with our walkie-talkies."
Brad, Cassidy, and Jake all went into their van and tried to add up their clues. Brad brought out a map of the city and put a red x on all the places the monster hit to see if he could find a pattern. Cassidy wrote out all the places the monster attacked to see if she could find a pattern. Cassidy said, "MR. E'S FARM, ARIZONA BANK, ARIZONA DINER, SUPERMARKET OF FICTIONAL THINGS. No pattern here." Brad said, "Maybe not in your writing, but there is on my map. And I have a good idea of where it will strike next. Cassidy sat down with Brad and looked at the map with him. Brad pointed at all the marks he put on the map and said, "Look. Here's Mr. E's farm, here's the bank, here's the diner, and here's the supermarket." Cassidy said, "They look the same distance apart." Brad said, "Yep." Brad extended the line even more and marked the spot on the map that was next in line. Brad said, "And if my hunch is right and it's moving the same distance every night. The next stop should be the museum."
Meanwhile, Judy and Ricky pretended to look at the charms in the store while waiting for Mr. Shiplap to leave his office. Once he did, he locked the door and went to help a customer. Then Judy and Ricky went to Mr. Shiplap's office, turned the knob, and found the door was locked. Ricky whispered, "It's locked." Judy whispered, "Let me give it a shot." Judy took her credit card from her purse and picked the lock on the door with it. Then she opened the door, and they snuck into Mr. Shiplap's office, shut it, and locked it again.
Judy looked at Mr. Shiplap's desk while Ricky looked through his filing cabinet. Ricky said, "Nothing in here." Judy found a piece of paper on Mr. Shiplap's desk and read it. Judy said, "Here's the paper that proved the book on Bigfoot was stolen. He just didn't put it back in his filing cabinet. Then Judy and Ricky heard the doorknob turning and started to get worried. Judy said, "Uh oh." Mr. Shiplap entered his office and said, "Oh, almost forgot. I didn't put that stolen book's paper inside my filing cabinet." Mr. Shiplap grabbed the paper off his desk and returned it to his filing cabinet. Then he left his office, Judy came out from inside the closet, and Ricky came out from hiding atop the bookcase. Then they snuck out of Mr. Shiplap's office without him knowing and returned to their van. Judy said, "We didn't find anything." Cassidy said, "He still could be a suspect." Brad said, "We also figured out where the monster will strike next, and we'll be waiting for him." Brad showed Judy and Ricky the map and showed them that he thought the monster would strike the museum next.
It started to rain when it got dark out, but the monster still appeared. The Clue Crackers waited in their van outside the museum for the beast and saw him. Then their headlights started to flicker, and then they turned off. Brad tried starting the van but couldn't because the motor wasn't working. Then, a green light shined over them, and the UFO appeared. The Clue Crackers then screamed in terror, ran for their lives away from the UFO, and ran into the museum to stop the monster, but when they got inside, they saw all the treasures inside were gone, and so was the monster. Judy said, "The displays are gone, and so is the monster." Cassidy said, "Maybe not." Cassidy pointed down, and The Clue Crackers looked at where she was pointing. Then, they saw muddy footprints walking away from the displays and decided to follow them. Then, the lights in the museum started to flicker, and the power went out. Then a green glow appeared in the window, and The Clue Crackers ran away screaming and hid in separate places in the museum. Then the lights came back on, and they followed the footprints to a locked door. Judy said, "Another locked door? No problem." Judy used her platinum card to pick the lock on the door. Judy then opened the door and said, "Never underestimate the power of platinum." The Clue Crackers then walked down the stairs to the basement and looked around. The Clue Crackers used their flashlights to take a look around. They saw the place was full of boxes and new artifacts for the museum. Cassidy said, "This doesn't make sense. If the museum had new exhibits that are more valuable, why steal the old ones?" Judy said, "Because maybe someone knew something about those artifacts that we don't." Brad said, "But the only person who could have known something like that is an archeologist. Or the curator of the museum." Judy said, "Oh yeah, like the curator would rob his museum." Brad said, "It's possible. It would explain how he got to the basement easily without setting off the alarm."
The Clue Crackers went back to their van and did some research on their suspects. Cassidy typed in Mr. E's name first, and his picture appeared on her computer with a background check. Brad said, "Mr. E?" Cassidy said, "He could have faked the attack, and it was his henchman in the monster suit." Brad said, "What about Mr. Knight, the museum curator." Cassidy typed in his name, and his picture appeared on her screen with a background check. Brad said, "He was the last to leave the museum each night. And he could have stolen those artifacts to replace them with the new ones." Ricky asked, "What about the bank president?" Cassidy typed in the bank president's name, and his picture appeared on her screen with a background check. Ricky said, "He could have stashed that money somewhere and have been the one in the diner who escaped through the tunnel we found." Cassidy then typed in Mr. Shiplap's name, and his picture appeared on her screen with a background check. Judy said, "And I have a funny feeling about Mr. Shiplap, who runs that supermarket that was robbed. And he could have been the ninja trying to keep us away from it." Cassidy then pushed a button on her computer, and all four pictures of their four suspects appeared on her screen. Cassidy said, "Everyone on this list has been either robbed or terrorized by the monster and UFO. We're just missing something." Brad said, "And if we just extend the line on the map at the same distance the monster has been going, we can predict the next target." Cassidy took the pen and said, "Let me see that." Cassidy pointed at Mr. E's farm and said, "This is where the monster struck first." Ricky said, "So?" Cassidy said, "So if we extend the line at the same distance the monster has been going backward, I bet we'll find another clue." Cassidy extended the line backward behind Mr. E's farm and circled a shack in Mr. E's backyard. Brad said, "Hey, a shack. Maybe that's where the monster is hiding. Time to split up." Brad extended the line on the map to the water tower and circled it. Brad said, "The girls will go to the water tower and keep an eye out for our friend. Me, Ricky, and Jake will check out that shack."
The girls rode their all-terrain cycles to the water tower while the boys rode them to the shack behind Mr. E's farm. Once they arrived, they looked at the ground and saw giant footprints leading in and out of the shack. Brad opened the door, and they walked in. Then Brad and Ricky used their flashlights to look around. They looked around and saw the place was full of boxes and crates. Brad looked inside one of the crates and found the stolen book on Bigfoot. Brad said, "Hey, check this out. It's the book that was stolen from the supernatural supermarket." Brad called the girls on his walkie and told them what they found. Brad said into his walkie-talkie, "Girls, come in." Judy answered his call on her walkie-talkie. Judy asked into her walkie-talkie, "What is it?" Brad said into his walkie, "We found the stolen book on Bigfoot that was taken from Mr. Shiplap's shop. The other stolen goods might be here too."
Judy said into her walkie-talkie, "Keep looking. We'll watch for the monster at the water tower." While the girls watched for the monster at the water tower, the boys looked around the shack for clues. While they were searching, they started to hear growling. Brad said, "Shush. Do you hear something?" Brad and Ricky kept quiet and began to hear growling. Ricky said, "That sounds big." Then they heard a roar and ran for their lives. They hid under a table covered by a sheet and saw the monster's shadow walk by. Once they saw it, they started to get nervous and kept quiet. Then the beast reached inside and tried to grab Brad or Ricky, but they kept up against a stack of boxes on the other side of the table and saw the monster's arm reaching in. Then the monster went away, and the boys caught their breaths. Then the beast grabbed the table they were hiding under, spotted the boys, and the boys screamed in terror. The boys then ran away screaming, ran out of the shack, and rode away on their all-terrain cycles. The monster ran after them but couldn't catch them on their all-terrain cycles. Brad said, "Something tells me he didn't want us snooping around in the shack." Ricky said, "Let's turn around and go back." Brad and Ricky turned their all-terrain cycles around and returned to the shack.
Once they got back to the shack, they looked at the ground and saw the monster's footprints going back into the shack. Brad said, "He's in there. Ricky, you stay out here and guard the door if anyone comes by or the monster comes out. Jake and I will go back inside and see if we can find him or the stolen goods." Brad opened the shack door, turned on his flashlight, and looked around with Jake. While they were looking around the shack, it was getting dark out, and the girls still hadn't seen anything. Judy said, "We've been here for hours, and still nothing." Then, their all-terrain cycles started to lose power and turned off. Once they did, the UFO flew over the water tower and shone a green light on Judy and Cassidy. Judy and Cassidy screamed in terror while they hugged and then disappeared along with the UFO.
Meanwhile, Ricky stood watching outside the shack while Brad and Jake investigated the inside. Brad then saw a rope and a net and got an idea of how to trap the monster. Brad grabbed the rope and net and took them outside. Once they got outside, Brad tied the rope to the net and tied the other end to a tree. Then, they poured water onto the ground and made mud to make the ground slippery. Brad said, "Ok, the monster leaves through the door, steps on the mud by the door, and slides down the trail to the tree we rigged with a net. He hits the tree, the vibration loosens the rope, and drops the net onto the monster. Then presto, we trap Bigfoot and solve the mystery." Ricky said, "One problem: how will we get Bigfoot to come out? We can't go back in; we'll trap ourselves when we run out. Also, someone must keep pouring water onto the trap to keep it muddy."
Brad said, "I think I got an idea. Give me your walkie-talkie." Ricky gave Brad his walkie-talkie, and Brad tapped it to the door. Brad said into his walkie, "I wonder where Bigfoot could be; after all, we're in the shack." Ricky stated into Brad's walkie-talkie, "Maybe he's this way towards the door." Once Bigfoot heard their voices, he followed them to the door. Brad said in his walkie-talkie, "Thank goodness we made it out before that monster got us." Bigfoot ran through the door, hoping to catch the boys, but then he slid on the mud and tripped into the boys' trap. Bigfoot then slid to the tree and hit it with his head. Once he did, the vibration un-tied the knot in the tree and dropped the net on Bigfoot. Brad said, "We got him." After they caught Bigfoot, their all-terrain cycles started to act up and then powered down. Then the UFO flew overhead, the boys screamed, and the green light shone on them. Then, a bright light shined on them, and a bunch of ropes dropped down around them, and a bunch of people, including Judy and Cassidy, slid down on the ropes. The Clue Crackers hugged, and then the people who slid down held their guns up to Bigfoot. Brad asked, "What's going on?" Judy said, "We were at the water tower when the FBI surrounded us and asked us where you were. Since we were on the case, they figured we were the culprits, but we told them that we almost had it figured out, and we told them where to find you." Brad said, "And we know who's behind this." Ricky asked, "Really? Who?" Brad said, "I thought you figured it out when we discovered the shack with the stolen goods in his backyard."
Brad helped Bigfoot up and removed his mask. The Clue Crackers all said, "Mr. E!" Then they removed his gloves and saw he had robotic claws. Cassidy said, "Robotic claws. That explains why the claw marks didn't belong to any known animal species." Brad reached into the mask, pushed a button inside, and the mask grew razor-sharp teeth. Brad said, "Automatic teeth. That explains the bite marks, too." Judy said, "And since Bigfoot is a fake, the hair we found was artificial." Cassidy said, "That explains why I couldn't identify it."
After they unmasked Mr. E and figured out how he had done it, The Clue Crackers gathered everyone who had been robbed and explained to them and the FBI what was happening and how they had figured it out. Ricky said, "I thought the monster targeted Mr. E." Cassidy said, "He was. Everyone here was. This mystery has no culprit; it has a conspiracy, like our adventure with Shirley Holmes did." The director of the FBI said, "You mean, everyone did it." Judy said, "That's right. Each time the Bigfoot attacked, a different person was in the Bigfoot costume." Cassidy brought out the dollar bill they found from her pocket and said, "That explains what we found on the diner floor. That time, it was Mr. Slap, the bank president in the Bigfoot costume, and he just dropped it, and we found it. He also escaped through the secret passage in the janitor's closet that led to Mrs. Norton's house. She was the woman who served us at the diner, and she was also one of the members of the conspiracy since it led to her diner and her house, and she was the one who circled the story on the paper we found in her living room." Brad said, "He took the costume off and escaped through the front door." Judy said, "He was the only one with the keys to the bank and the vault. So, he helped the person in the Bigfoot costume rob it." The FBI director asked, "What about the stolen money? Where is it now?" The Clue Crackers said, "We don't know." Cassidy said, "I think I might. Come with me."
The Clue Crackers, FBI, and culprits all returned to the bank's vault, and Cassidy put her ear on one of them. Then she kicked the wall, and it tumbled down like a collapsing bridge. Cassidy then took her water bottle, picked up one of the bars that fell off the wall, and sprayed it with her water bottle. Once she did, the paint washed off the money and revealed it. Cassidy said, "The culprits sprayed the money with the spray paint bottle we found in Mrs. Norton's kitchen and stacked them up like bricks so it would look like one of the walls and all the money was stolen." Judy said, "That's why the vault was 3 inches off a perfect square when I measured it. But it should be a perfect square now. It also explains when we ran from the UFO, I ran into that paint. That must have been leftover paint from when the culprits spray-painted the money."
Brad said, "Once you knew we were getting close, you guys thought we were the culprits because you also saw us in the pizza parlor." Judy said, "Of course, that's why that guy looked so suspicious to me. He was an FBI agent trying to find clues to the Bigfoot." Brad said, "The bad guys also figured we were getting close, so they attacked us at their next target, hoping to throw us off course. They also pulled that vanishing Bigfoot act with a projector. So we caught a projection in the trap, which disappeared in the cage when they turned the projector off. But one thing they didn't count on was us figuring out the pattern they were taking." Ricky showed them the map of the city they marked and said, "And I'm betting the FBI figured out the same pattern; that's why the UFO appeared on the same course as us and the Bigfoot." Cassidy said, "Actually, what they have isn't a UFO. It's just a helicopter that blocks out motors and shortens out lights whenever it comes near them. We only thought it was a UFO because it looked like one." Ricky said, "Since they couldn't dress the other stolen goods up as they did with the money, they stashed them in the shack in Mr. E's backyard. We figured that out when we found out it was on the same course as Bigfoot and found the Bigfoot book that was stolen from the supernatural supermarket inside it. Once Mr. E saw us arrive through his window, he dressed up as Bigfoot again and tried to scare us away from the shack."
The FBI director asked, "But why?" Cassidy said, "Because they each wanted to be rich and figured they could accomplish that if they worked together and stole everything they stole." Mrs. Norton said, "You are too smart for us." Mr. E said, "And we would have gotten away with it if it was for you meddling kids and your dog." Then, the FBI arrested Mr. E, Mr. Shiplap, Mrs. Norton, and Mr. Slap and took them to jail. After solving their case, The Clue Crackers sat down at the pizza parlor where they had eaten before Brad read the newspaper out loud to them. Brad said, "Hey guys, check this out. 'Teenaged sleuths crack the Bigfoot case and put the culprits where they belong.'" Judy said, "Another day, another case closed." Then they all smacked hands with Jake and were happy they solved the case.
The End
