"You" Charon screamed "why Jennifer, why" she continued wailing by this time her makeup was a mess because of her tears. Mascara was running down her face , her eyes were a little swollen she was probably crying before Jennifer came

"Why Jennifer" she asked again this time her eyes weren't running rivers but she was mad, mad

"I'm sorry ch-" before Jennifer could complete it Charon lost her calm she slapped the unexpecting Jennifer but she just held her cheeks that stung she didn't compain...she did deserve it

"Charon it was a mistake we were both drunk and before we know it we- we woke up in the morning then he asked me on a dinner so he could apologize and make sure I don't tell you... we had dinner, the next day you told me to go pick him at the bar drunken-" Charon was listen all this while not even uttering a single word but the moment Jennifer talked about the bar incident she snapped

"That's because I was out of town..I trusted you I told you to pick him up and take him home not fuck him in our gaddamn bed" she yelled

"It happened that once and we never meet after that I swear it was a mistake Charon please"

"Get out" Charon said as calm as possible pointing at the door

"Charon" Jennifer begged

"I'll send you, your remaining balance of the rent you already paid, leave" she added when Jennifer didn't move

"I don't care about the money or place please" she continued to beg since high school they were like the inseparables and that went on to college then university and now they're roommates and trying to figure out life together. A friendship of 9 years gone just like that

"When did you end things" Charon suddenly asked

"Whe-when I went to — pick him at the bar after that night" Jennifer said as she sobbed

"That's was 3weeks ago" Charon said nodding her head as she laughed it was not a happy laugh

"Leave Jennifer" she suddenly stopped laughing her whole face went serious, Jennifer knew if she didn't leave come what may so she turned around and walked out she stood on the doorway the moment she opened her mouth to say more Charon locked the door with a Bam it was so loud she flinched.. she didn't wanna go to her friends, they'll just scold her more although she was quite sure they'll take her in but her guilt is already at the roof so it's enough for today she took out her phone and sent a text to Xavier that ass, she really had no where else to go.. her parents were all the way in like " 55 " minutes drive away, her car is in the garage so she can't drive or sleep in it..

"Hey can I come over" she sent, this is making her look so bad

"Yeah" came his reply almost immediately

"Everything okay" he asked

"No" she replied curtly

"Where you at, lemme pick you up it's not save to walk at night it's already late" Xavier sent

"I'll wait near the gas station" she replied for obvious reason she didn't want Charon to see Xavier picking her up unless she wants to add fuel to the fire.. thankfully

She got to the gas station in one piece, she didn't have to wait for long after about two minutes Xavier arrived in his flashy Jeep wrangler..

"You okay" he asked when she got in and sat. Jennifer wasn't really in the mood for chit-chat so she just nodded and looked out the window thankfully Xavier took that as a sign and kept quite. She most have slept in the car because the next time she woke up she was on a bed and Xavier was no where to be found, he was probably in another room.. since he's place is practically a mansion it definitely oath to have many rooms.. she picked up her phone to see if she could try and contact Charon but she blocked her with a message that read

"Hoe I saw you, you can have him I done"

did she see Xavier but that's not possible the gas station was like a minute and thirty seconds watch... maybe she wasn't talking about the pickup. She did receive message from her other friends

Claire: "jennifer where are you, Charon drove you out, you know no one here, where are you right now.. I'm calling it's going to voicemail straight*"

Everlin: I expected better from you Jennifer.. I saw all those flirtings and little torches I asked and you denied it, she's your best friend at this point Jennifer was sure Charon had told the everyone the whole gang they were more than friends six of them were like a small gang of besties

Sofia: don't do anything stupid, Charon told me you've already left.. don't go to Xavier. come here or sleep at a hotel, stay clear of that asswat he's trouble.. I'm going to Charon now doesn't want her doing anything stupid, will talk in the morning yeah that's right mother of the group Sofia, making sure everyone and everything is alright

Scarlet: scarlet I'm calling your not picking.. you better not go see xavier.. I never even liked him, he didn't have peace in him only chaos.. your not at Charlie, not at my place, not sofie's not even everlin where you at.. how could you even God- call me back if you see this message, I'm ma go see Charon now bye

She didn't reply any of the messages.. she didn't even know what to say, she curled up and cried herself to sleep.. when she woke up the next morning, Xavier was no where to do found she packed her stuff, left him a note on the kitchen counter and left,

I'm sorry for disturbing you, thank you for yesterday really!

She still wasn't ready to face the girls so she took a hotel room for the day at least.. she had her breakfast and just stayed indoors she was terrified to walk outside and see the girls or worst Charon... later in the afternoon she got a message from Sofia

"Let's meet later in the evening..I have work to do now"

"Okay" she replied. Then went to sleep even after all the sleeping she did she still feel asleep probably due to the stress
