"Wait, isn't your power a sacred gear?"
Saji asked as he took a sip of his shake.
"That's the point, I'm not sure, she said it could be a magical bloodline, I personally think otherwise, but as I didn't explain to her how my power actually works so her guess was logical."
Micael responded by shrugging his shoulders in a gesture that it is what it is.
Drinking for a moment and then pushing the glass away, Saji spoke in a knowing tone.
"So you really lied to her, man, that's so like you."
"It's completely understandable."
"I know, I know, you don't need to explain it to me Micael, I understand."
Saji said, understanding his intentions perfectly, he had known him long enough to already know why.
Micael just nodded, his thoughts highlighting that fact as well.
'Yes, you understand me, but I wonder what your reaction would be if you knew that I didn't tell you the whole truth, ah, nevermind, he would definitely insult me a lot, hahaha.'
This thought he had was related to the half-true explanation he gave to Saji.
When he explained this to Saji while forcing him to train, he only gave a somewhat disguised explanation about the nature of his powers.
He basically said, "My power seemingly manifests abilities and powers randomly, they just pop into my head every now and then."
And as said, it was half true, since the powers appeared randomly from time to time in his head, as it depended on when he remembered something.
In other words, he didn't lie, he just hid some things, and naturally Saji didn't try to fish for more information either, simply accepting the explanation he gave.
And he intended to tell the truth about his powers to Saji, the problem is that he would probably have to talk about his reincarnation too, and that was something he originally intended to take to the grave.
Telling this to his family, especially his father, is something he doesn't intend to do, he thinks they don't understand, at least not now, but maybe in a few years, a few decades to be exact.
But with Saji it will be different, if he talks about it, Saji will probably shrug his shoulders, then make some absurd joke, like calling him a perverted uncle or something.
But even if he intends to do so, it won't be now, in a few months, when Saji will become more acclimated to paranormal notions and, hopefully, the more mature he will be when he intends to talk about it.
"By the way, how exactly did you know I'm a devil? Did Rias tell you something?"
Saji asked next, taking a sip.
"No, and I don't think Rias knows that you were recruited by Sona, or she does and decided not to tell me for some reason."
"It must be because of me, if Sona told her then she knows I'm your friend, maybe she didn't say anything to not scare you or something, intending to let you digest the other things before telling you this."
Micael agreed, nodding his head as he said.
"That could be it."
"Okay, but if she didn't tell you, how did you find out?"
A question asked with another sip taken.
"That's simple, I used my power, humans and devils have different energies, and I simply saw them, that's why I found out that you were a devil, I literally saw your devil energy in your body."
"Oh..."
With a faint smile of amusement, Micael continued.
"Besides, you kind of gave yourself away when you got here, Rias told me that devils have some sort of translation ability, the way you reacted to both songs made it seem like you knew what was being said."
A neutral face appeared as Saji's expression when he heard those words.
"You planned this, didn't you? You sneaky bastard."
With a shrug and a weak smile still on his face was how he responded when he spoke.
"You can call me Micael Aizen Sosuke da Silva."
Saji huffed and responded, drinking the rest of the shake.
"I don't know who he is, but I'm already sure he's a crazy guy like you."
"Meh, you're not exactly wrong."
Putting down the glass and smacking his lips at the taste, he looked at Micael with a raised eyebrow and asked.
"Isn't that power of yours a little too strong, right? Does this have any weaknesses or limitations?"
"Yes it does, in fact you are still stronger than me, I'm not much different from a normal human."
Saying these words, Micael went to a reclining bench, picked it up and brought it over.
"So how come you keep knocking me down and slipping out of my grip?"
Saji questioned him as he sat in a corner of the bench.
Sitting in the other corner of the bench, Micael took a deep breath and exhaled tiredly before answering.
"I used two skills, slower time perception and body manipulation."
"And how exactly did you do that?"
"It was simple, I reduced my perception of time so I used my body manipulation to tune my arm, actually, I thought you would notice, but your senses aren't that sharp by the looks of it."
Maintaining silence with the explanation, he blinked his eyes in realization before speaking.
"My senses are more acute, but I generally leave them at normal human levels so as not to be bothered."
"Hmm, I understand, and the way I was taking you down was mainly by using my legs so you wouldn't see my movement, but even then you could have noticed that I was moving too fast, but because you were so frustrated and surprised, you didn't notice."
"Yeah, now that you say it, if I had stayed calm and especially knowing how you are, I would have realized something was wrong, I was stupid."
"Haha, yeah, you let your guard down, Saji, you have to be smarter man."
"Yeah yeah, whatever."
Getting up from the bench, Saji went to where the glasses were on the floor and picking up the remaining four, he brought them with him as he sat down on the bench again.
"Ugh, I'm already full, it's going to be hard to drink all of this."
He commented as he placed the glasses on the floor and picked one up to continue drinking.
"Get used to it."
That's what Micael said, giving him a light slap on the shoulder.
"So." — Micael began, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his thighs, continuing. — "How has your routine been as a reincarnated devil, have you ever found a lost stray devil?"
Saji replied as he lightly shook the cup and looked at the quivering liquid inside.
"Nah, I just trained and handed out some summoning pamphlets, Kaichou said she wants me to become more familiar with my new abilities and sacred gear before sending me on some more serious missions."
"Logical."
"Yeah. I think the same."
"But come on, tell me something." — Looking at Saji, he raised an eyebrow and a meaningful smile appeared on his face as he asked. — "Are you interested in any of the girls? Or maybe you already have one of their numbers?"
Snorting in mockery, Saji explained with calm words.
"Humph, yes to the first question, as for the second, Kaichou would tear my skin off if I tried to flirt with any of the girls, mainly because the first impression I gave wasn't the best."
With a light laugh came Micael's words.
"Hah, let me guess, the moment she mentioned the harem you started daydreaming, didn't you?"
A neutral look appeared on Saji's face with the cup in front of his lips as he spoke.
"Hahaha."
Scratching his nose for a moment, Micael rested his head on his fist as he looked at him and asked.
"So which one are you interested in?"
Turning his head towards him, Saji responded with the most serious tone possible.
"All."
A dismissive snort was what he received before the words that followed.
"Hmph, I'm not surprised, but you can't have them all, so which one are you most interested in?"
Stroking his chin thoughtfully for a brief moment of silence as Saji responded.
"Hmm...if I had to say which one I'm most interested in it would be...Kaichou."
'Was it like that in the anime too, or am I remembering it wrong?'
These being his inner thoughts, outwardly he raised an eyebrow as he asked in doubt.
"From the way you talked about her, I thought you feared her or something."
"Sure enough, all the girls on the student council are scary, but Kaichou is definitely the scariest, not to mention she's strong as hell and extremely annoying to fight."
Micael asked when he felt curious about these final words about Sona.
"Is she that strong? And what do you mean she's annoing to fight?"
With his face twitching, Saji explained as if he was remembering bad memories.
"She is extremely annoying to fight because she practically turns the surroundings into a damn minefield, I barely noticed and I started being attacked from all directions."
"Hmm."
Micael muttered as he imagined the scene.
"And that wasn't the worst part, she did it using only weak magic, according to her words, and as she explained herself later, she simply attacked me in weak spots continually, like my joints, preventing me from counterattacking in any way."
With a now blank expression on his face, he continued, mimicking her tone.
"She said, "What I just did was just a simple strategy Saji-kun, understand that just because you have sacred gear you are not invincible, you also need to be smart."
"That's good advice."
"Yes, and I would have gladly accepted, if she hadn't said that next, "and that's why you're going to read some books on strategy in the next few days, here, start with this one" then she handed me a damn book as thick as a dictionary."
He finished speaking with a sour expression appearing on his face, as if he had swallowed a fly.
"Pfft hahahaha."
A laugh was what came out of Micael upon hearing this, perfectly understanding the reason for his sour face.
"The worst thing she could have done is make you study, hahaha."
With a still sour expression on his face, he drank the rest of the shake in the glass in one go before complaining.
"Yes, it was practically torture, fuck, fuck you Sun-tzu, who cares that you're a war genius? fuck that!"
"Hahahah."
Shaking his head and with a smile, Micael spoke with amusement.
"At least I see a positive side to this, with her being your master, I can see you finally coming to your senses a little."
Leaning over and picking up another glass, Saji's response came with a snort.
"Hmph, common sense is overrated, shamelessness is the true path."
"I don't know where you got that from."
Looking at him sideways with a clear meaning, Saji spoke.
"Where else would I get it from? From you, of course."
Straightening up as he stretched his arms, Micael yawned before answering shamelessly.
"Yawn...who? Me? Definitely not, I'm innocent."
Then, finishing stretching, he gave her a comforting pat on the shoulder as he spoke.
"Anyway, good luck to you, just be careful not to end up being whipped in the end."
"There is no woman in this world who can make a whipping man out of me."
Micael spoke with a face that clearly didn't believe what he had heard.
"Of course, I'll make sure to remind you of that when you get a girlfriend."
"Don't worry, any girl I date will be completely submissive and breedable."
Saji spoke, pretending not to have seen the expression of pure distrust that appeared on Micael's face when he said this and then continued.
"And I'm grateful for the good luck, even if my luck with girls isn't as crazy as yours."
And Micael spoke in a questioning tone.
"Why are you talking like I'm unlucky."
Saji ended up raising an eyebrow along with a questioning look as he said.
"And am I wrong? Or have you forgotten the things you told me? Or more recently than what happened just a few months ago?"
Micael didn't respond immediately, remaining in thoughtful silence.
'The worst thing is that I can't disagree, especially considering what happened to Koneko recently.'
Perverted luck is only good if you are the protagonist for it to work and you survive the problems that come later, but fortunately, the perverted luck he had was not on the same level as Yuuki Rito's.
In short, for Micael it was a blessing and a curse considering the things that happened to him, he is very grateful that this is a world with this absurd logic.
Then, nodding his head with an expression of agreement, he replied to Saji.
"Yes, you're right I can't disagree with that, as for the incident a few months ago, I had actually forgotten about that."
It was with an expression of disbelief appearing on his face that Saji asked.
"Are you serious?"
A shrug of the shoulders was what he received in response along with the words.
"A lot of strange things have happened in my life, it wasn't the first time, I'm just used to it."
Shaking his head at this, Saji spoke.
"Okay, nevermind, but just thinking about it makes me feel invisible pain."
These words were accompanied by the tremor in Saji's body, as if he was feeling chills.
"Understandable, even with the weird things that happened to me, this was definitely the worst."
With a weak smile appearing on his face, Micael began to remember what had happened.
