This was the worst.

Ravel covered her head and ears with her pillow in a vain attempt to escape reality as her face was dyed in shame. The soft pillow did very little to stop the noises her mother rather loudly made. The slight shaking of the building did not help.
She knew her mother and Takumi would have s-sex but she thought to just ignore it, she knew she would also have to s-serve him one day but she wasn't exactly opposed to it as long as he treated her right. She did not know what to feel when she knew her mother would also have... that with him but she certainly wasn't expecting it to keep her up at night.
The walls were not soundproof and they were so loud and violent that it
felt like she was just outside her door.
Imagining Takumi's hot and sweaty body pounding away at her instead after a romantic date would have helped her at least have fun but knowing it was her own mother who was getting pounded away by him gave her so many conflicted feelings that she was just stuck being unable to sleep.

I left my bedroom feeling like a god among men.
I finally did it, I made good on my promise, I have fucked a milf. It feels like a spiritual aspect of my very existence has been bolstered. I thought about staying in the room and sleeping with Rayne after fucking her for 3 hours straight but I had such a strong and vigorous power of inspiration flow through my veins that I just had to work. Of course, I let Rayne sleep on the bed, I decided not to clean her though, I want her to feel it afterwards.
Anyway! With my mind now fresh and clear from that lovemaking and the power of inspiration rushing through my veins, I knew what I wanted to do this time.
Bloodline Abilities.
I had enough different samples on hand to feel confident enough to approach how Bloodline Abilities worked. So I teleported to my Kuoh house laboratory and got to work. All tools here were custom-created by me through alchemy and enchanting so it was my favorite lab to work in.
There were also two Homunculi helpers in the lab as my extra hands in case I needed help.
The samples I had in my hand consisted of Sera's breast milk, Rayne's breast milk, a blood sample from Ravel and a blood sample from Rayne, Sona and Rias.
I had to quickly hop over and ask for blood samples from them for my research which they willingly gave without much hassle. Then I got to researching it.
I started by analysing Rayne and Sera's BM samples, after a few hours I managed to single out the bloodline power out of the rest of the traits in the BM samples.
If I did not purify them to only contain the desired trait it would basically be useless since the Alchemical Value would be equally distributed among traits making Bloodline Power unusable. Like a gem with inpurities.
Funnily, 90% of that time was spent trying to refine Sera's BM sample, it was like trying to carve steel into a statue while all you had was an iron knife. While trying to refine Rayne's was like doing the same with sandstone. Makes sense, Sera is overwhelmingly stronger than even my max stack while Rayne was roughly equal to my base and I was at max Boost Stack while refining.
After getting two pure samples of Bloodline Powers I then spent time researching not the unique powers of the samples because frankly, that was nigh impossible for the current me. Converting the data of the individual powers would be exabytes of just pure text and I did not even know the language of it. But I didn't need to understand the underlying principles of it anyway, if even Ajuka couldn't after hundreds of years I didn't give myself a good chance.
Instead, I spent time comparing the two factors and only taking the common denominators between them. My goal was to find out the factor that activates the Bloodline Ability and is responsible for managing the interaction between the body and the bloodline factor.
After all, it would be a shame if I integrated a bloodline ability into my body just to not be able to use it because I did not have to right factors in my body to make it work. That would be attaching two new arms to yourself yet never giving the arms nerves so they just dangle lifelessly.
Heavenly Comprehension or Iter Melius most likely would have covered such a connection themselves but I liked to have my bases covered. Besides, researching it was both fun and would open more doors for me in the future. After a full overnighter in my alchemy cavern, I managed to produce some fruitful results.
I experimented with stimulating the Bloodline Factor as well as improving its powers, and I am pretty sure I can apply the same method of how I refine BM Samples to actual Bloodline Factors in the Devil body. Basically, I could create a potion that would refine and reinforce the bloodline factor that holds the Bloodline Ability by borrowing from my Concept of Boosting that is borrowed from Ddraig.
It would give a noticeable boost to the Bloodline Ability of varying degrees to anyone who consumed it. For someone like Rias who already had insane Bloodline Ability potency the level of improvement would be something like 10 - 25%, still insane for a permanent improvement that would carry down the Bloodline. But for someone who rolled lower on the genetic lottery, it could even go up to 300%!
Also, I had to ask Ajuka to let me get a blood sample from any 3 devils who were born from houses that had bloodline abilities that they themselves did not awaken and surprisingly he got it for me in less than an hour.
Apparently, families that produce children who did not inherit their bloodline ability often offer them as peerage members to other higher-ranking devils to curry favour and build connections. There were a good amount of such servants(not peerage members) in Ajuka's entourage so he was able to quickly get me some samples while I sent some of the potion-grown crops I had in stock to him as thanks.
Using those samples, I am calling them Inert Bloodline Factors and comparing them to the Active Bloodline Factors of Sona, Rias and Ravel allowed me to observe the difference between them.
The problem with Inert factors. The blood samples all had the Bloodline Powers they were supposed to have, at least traces of them. The problem was the fact their bodies were incompatible with their abilities, basically the same as having brown eyes even though your mother had green eyes. The potential of you having green eyes was still there but it just wasn't expressed.
Another comparison would be a circuit, the battery and lightbulb were fine but the wires were the wrong type or were fucked up to work so the whole circuit did nothing.
Well, there was also the minuscule chance of them just not inheriting the Bloodline Ability gene at all in which case even my miracle elixirs cannot help at that point beyond just giving them new Bloodline Power.
Anyway, once I had realized the issue, cooking up something to make the Inert Bloodline Factor forcefully build a working connection between the Bloodline Ability and then bolster the formed pathway wasn't too hard. Sure, your ability to use your Bloodline Power would start at the level of a child who just recently awakened it due to artophy but that wasn't as bad as not having it.
In the end, I had two prototype potions in my hands.

Yep, they look pretty darn nice. But man am I completely spent after making those two. The Goch prefix behind the potion means I transferred all of the boosts I had into the potion I created it, it took me everything to reach max boost and then dump that into the potion which was incredibly exhausting, I would be tired for a good bit rest of the day even taking some stamina regeneration potions.
But hmm, I don't know how exactly important these potions are, maybe I should consult someone about them. Well, I have someone who knows a lot about Devil politics always ready for me, don't I? I pulled out a Grayfia summoning paper and tore it and before less than even a minute passed, Grayfia appeared before me looking as pristine as ever and wearing her maid outfit, I am beginning to suspect she just never takes it off.
"Why have you called on me this time?" She said with a little snark in her voice but I did not mind. I definitely did not want to live with Yes-Men.
"Hey, Grayfia, could you give me a brief rundown of the importance of Bloodlines in Devil society and what it means for someone to be born without a bloodline power? For no reason in particular?"
"...Well then, this is an unexpectedly tame request from you-" Right, my bad.
"Also, I want you to do it in a sexy teacher cosplay."
Grayfia gave me a look as if I were a rotting dead fish that just flopped onto her feet and stained her dress. She then took a deep breath before facepalming hard enough to create a small shockwave.
"Siiigh... I should have expected this. This is my fault. But unfortunately, since there is no 'sexy teacher cosplay' around, it seems like I will have to explain it to you normally."
In response, I simply clapped my hands and sent a detailed mental command to one of my homunculi, then in less than a dozen moments a homunculi teleported into my alchemy cavern with a sexy teacher cosplay neatly folded in her hands.
Grayfia looked between me and the uniform with a gaze that I could physically feel judging me.
"Should I even ask why you have this ready?" I shrugged.
"If you want to."
Grayfia rubbed her forehead, I could see the migraine forming. She looked as if she was debating saying something but simply gave up and took the teacher's clothes from the homunculi's hands.
"I feel like asking will make my headache worse. Just give it here, I'm going to go and change." I raised my eyebrow at her.
"Go?" Grayfia looked at my face for a moment before making an expression of defeat and simply started undressing without saying anything while I enjoyed the strip show in front of me even though Grayfia did not move to make it particularly sexy simply undressing and dressing with honestly impressive efficiency.
Now Grayfia was wearing a tight suit that was specifically tailored for her(I made my homunculi make a lot of costumes for me), the blouse of it was half unbuttoned, exposing her black bra, her pencil skirt was also short barely covering her ass and giving me a great view of thighs and legs covered by a black pantyhose. I felt my mouth salivate slightly at the sight.
Once I had a taste of a MILF there was no going back for me. Grayfia looked at what she was wearing with an impressed expression.
"This is... unexpectedly comfortable? Even better than my usual clothes. Did you make this?" I nodded to her.
"Yeah, alchemy is quite convenient, isn't it? If you want you can keep it. Anyway, Grayfia-sensei, please explain to me the importance of Bloodline Powers in Devil society." Grayfia shook her head and... sat on my desk? Oho, maybe I was getting to her now.
"Very well, I guess this, is my job now. Alright, Bloodline Powers are the cornerstone of the Pillar Clans, there is nothing more important to them than the power of their bloodline, they were the reason the house came into power in the first place. The Bloodline Power is what separates a Devil noble from others. That is also why such an importance is put on them."
"It is to the point where a child of the clan born without its power is a shame to the clan and is barely counted as a part of it. The biggest example of this you can find is Sairaorg Bael, who despite being the strongest Devil his age by a large margin and one of the youngest ultimate class devils in history is still shunned and looked down on for being a Bael without the power of destruction. He was even removed from being the heir to the Bael family despite being the eldest son. Sairaorg's mother Misla Bael suffered even worse."
Grayfia looked slightly angry as she spoke about Sairaorg's circumstances. I was also interested in what she had to say about Sairaorg and his mom, I didn't know much about them other than a basic overview since I stopped watching after the Kyoto arc where Issei was physically powered up by boobs.
"Due to giving birth to the eldest son of the Bael family that did not have the power of destruction, she was completely ostracized by the Bael family and shamed by the rest of the clans. Lord Bael all but abandoned her and sent her to the countryside and didn't even send her support when she fell to the sleeping sickness. So, that is just how important Bloodline Powers are, in some cases, more important than the people who wield them."
Damn, that sucks for them.
Anyway.
"So, theoretically a potion capable of increasing the power of Bloodline Powers and an Elixir that awakens the Bloodline Power of anyone who consumes it would be rather important right?"
"Of course, that goes without sayi- Takumi." Grayfia stopped her sentence dead short as her eyes locked onto the two bright-coloured Elixirs in my hands.
"Takumi, what do you have in your hands?" Grayfia asked with a grave tone of voice that sounded almost like a mother who found a knife in her toddler's hands while I desparately tried not to smile.
"Potions."
She approached me and put her hands on my shoulders, getting uncomfortably close.
"What kind of potions?"
I averted my eyes, barely suppressing a smirk.
"The really cool kind. I was just putting them away really."
Her grip on my shoulders tightened, she looked almost desperate.
"Takumi, I need you to tell me what those potions are." I gave her a smug smile.
"Is that any way to ask for a favor? You know, you are being awfully rude for a maid." I was being lax with her but there was a limit, too lax and she will start thinking she has power over me. Stick and carrot.
Grayfia closed her eyes for a second before taking her shoulders off of me and lightly bowing as if she were still wearing her maid costume.
"Right, my apologies, could I please know about those potions?" I nodded wisely.
"See? Now that's better, I would have told you if you had just asked nicely you know?" I wouldn't have, I enjoy messing with her far more "Anyway, they were just Bloodline Ability Refinement and Bloodline Ability Awakening potions. Nothing for you to be worried about." Grayfia's eyebrows twitched, she had gotten a lot better at controlling her impulses over time it seemed considering she wasn't trying to choke me out.
"No, I think it is something I should be very much worried about considering it is you we are talking about. Not to mention the elixirs that you just mentioned that can and will turn the entire Devil race upside down." I simply shrugged my shoulders at her concern.
When have I ever caused problems? She was just overreacting.
I'm innocent.
Speaking of, doesn't my Emporium open tomorrow?

A/N: Takumi gets down and dirty on psuedo science. It's been a while since I have written Takumi actually doing alchemy instead of just talking doing alchemy. What did you guys think about the alchemy part? I hope it wasn't too boring, should I do more or less of it?
Also, poor Grayfia, she is the main target of Takumi's smug aura. At this point he has made messing with Grayfia a game, Takumi likes his revenges petty. Also Grayfia has started accepting her position with Takumi even if she is constantly exasparated by him. Do you guys like their interactions or any interactions between them you want to see?
Anyway, Ravel sits on the cuck chair and Takumi creates another absolutely revolutionary product, basically just another sunday really.
