"Linebackers, do anything, catch the ball but please do not slap it. Now Arjun line up 3 yards facing away from the QB." Arjun got into an O-line stance. The whistle blew and the Linebacker started getting into coverage as the QB threw.
Arjun looked at the spiraling ball jumped up as Rayleigh jumped up, Arjun turned around and jumped up clutching the ball barely and running 5 yards before stopping. The head coach started walking over, "Good, good. That was tight end if you didn't know, you too big to be a receiver."
"But I doubt you want to play tight end, but if you looking for a little bit of glory or helping us score a couple TDs then you can try be tight end."
Arjun spoke as he approached the head coach, "Nah, I want to play Defensive End." The coach nodded, "Go to the D-line coach." He walked back over to Coach Dunkel with a smile. It was Offensive line vs Defensive line drills, "I know a diamond in the roughs when I see one."
He spat in the ground after his sentence and rubbed it into the grass. "And you make look like it but truth is you could look like an intelligent man and spout nonsense." Arjun spoke, "I don't understand coach." The coach laughed, "Point is you look strong, but are you? We have a game against a team with a 5'5 O-line on average, a female runningback and QB."
"You will most likely be playing on Friday. As we only have 2 defensive ends, which means that when we sub them out, you'll take the spot. Their Senior Fullback is a different story, a 6'5, 250lbs of muscles but they don't put him in play very much."
"Oh if they put him into play everytime, he'd beat even us. He's committed to Alabama." Arjun smiled, "If anyone's going to slam him it's me." The Coach smiled, "That's the attitude I want."
He watched the D-Line vs O-Line drill like an analyst nad saw how the line played, how the centre snapped. Then it was his turn
