After she settled down, she brought out her stationary and looked round the class. There was some writings on the wall, some offensive ones and some which seemed like nicknames. She really didn't expect a largely grand private school to have such, but she couldn't blame the authorities, the students were the culprits.
The noise in the class made her feel left out,some are in groups, while others were disturbing the class in their own way. But the girl tht was sitting in front of her didn't make any noise, she only bobbed her head, vining to the music from her headphones. The other girls besides her were discussing in low tones,which didn't contribute to the noise. She focused her gaze on the girl with the headphones in front of her, she haven't seen her face, but looking at her from the back she might be good looking like the rest of the class. She had long black hair with some strands dyed with different shades of blue, and by the way she kept quite and bobbed her head to the music, she was an introvert.
Since she didn't know what subject they would be having that morning,she tapped on Alexis's shoulder to ask. She tapped a few times before Alexis turned to face her with her brows raised,her action made Dizmnd pause in shock,well not really, but she never thought she would be mesmerised by a fellow girl's beauty! Alexis had a carving on her left eye brow which was only noticeable when she made movements with her brows,she had pure black eyes, pointed nose and very red lips. Dizmnd shook her head, wondering if she had a brother
"Uhm, what subject are we having first?" Dizmnd asked as she snapped out of her reverie, but Alexis only raised her eyebrows at her, looking confused. She asked again but she only furrowed her brows even more, looking more confused. Only the did Dizmnd notice that she was till wearing her headphones,so she gestured to her ears and Alexis under stood what she was talking about so she took her head phones off and said" sorry,I forgot I had these on"
"Oh no probs, I just wanted to know what subject we are having"
"To be sincere, I dunno. Just wait for the teacher to come in" Alexis said and turned to sit properly, Dizmnd was about to ask another question but Alexis already had her headphones on again, which made her curse under her breathe.
"Hey beautiful, heard your name is Dizmnd, mines Mavin" a boy with light brown hair and hazel eyes said as he bent over her desk
"Mavin,leave that girl alone" one of the girls sitting down besides Dizmnd warned him.
" What? Can't I make a new friend?" Mavin rolled his eyes while the girl walked to Dizmnd.
" Hey my name's Aura, don't hesitate to hit him if he troubles you" Aura said with a smile as she gestured to Mavin
" I'm just trying to make a new friend,is it's crime?" Mavin exclaimed,his actions made Dizmnd smile slightly
"Don't act modest, glutton" Aura said and walked to her seat.
Mavin was about to continue his discussion with Dizmnd when the teacher walked in. He was angry when he saw Mavin with Dizmnd, he was always like this, pestering the girls.
"Mavin don't be a naughty boy! She's new here and your already pestering her,go get your ass down!" He boomed in a deep voice which made the once noisy class silent.
"That's Mr IB, our biology teacher" Aura whispers to Dizmnd who gave her a nod
" I can see we have a new chick in outmost, what's the name?" Mr IB turned to face her with a smile
" Dizmnd, Micheal Dizmnd"she replied cheerfully,already enjoying her first day of school.

Three periods passed and it was lunch break. Some people left the class while others stayed behind. She found her way to the cafeteria and bought her food, found a table with only one guy sitting on it so she decided to join him sinçe the other tables seemed full. After she settled down, she brought out her phone to watch a movie as she ate. She didnt notice that the guy in front of her was staring at her for some time now. He had brown hair and brown eyes, and he was good lookin
" Hey your the new girl in our class" he decided to start a conversation
" Yeah I am"
" The name's Dylan" he offered her a hand to shake
" Oh, I'm Dizmnd" she replied as she shakes him
"So Dizmnd, that's a funnyname for a girl"
"You got a problem with that?"
" No,just sounds boyish"
" Guess my parents decide from name me something unusual"
"It kinda sounds like Desmond" Dizmnd gave him a hard glare and he quickly added
"But it's a nice name" Dizmnd didn't bother to reply, she only focused on the food and movie.
"Sooooo,are you a science student or art?" He asked
"Neither, commercial" she replied,her gaze still focused on the movie. The bell rang, signifying the end of lunch,but she still wanted to eat her tofu and fries. Dylan noticed her situation and handed her apaper bag for her to pack her leftovers in. She took with a smile and put the leftovers inside and went back to class.
