In the center of the skies above Ridgeline City, two Lesser Elemental Falcons had met up. Each giving the other an excited nod. What they were about to do was rare for them but, it was always a fun time. The two of them started flying in a circle, following each other. Rapidly speeding up as they flew. And both releasing an aura of visible mana.
In response to the two sisters, the air began coiling along with their flight path. Building and generating a low pressure system. The sheer speed of the air began heating up the blood and other fluids in the city. All accessible due to the unwilling courtesy of the dying humans. The reaction of the heat was enough to start evaporation. However the rate was quite slow.
"Sister's it seems you need a little extra heat. Want me to join you for a few moments." Flairiana asked through telepathy.
"Sister. If you do that then I might as well join in as well. With my control over water the storm we would create together would be mighty. Certainly would be a bit quicker… Actually, Fernia, do you mind moving on to the humans inside the city? If the four of us make a storm we could easily get rid of every defender on the walls." Acialia asked.
"Hmm, I don't mind. But try to leave some alive for later. I like seeing the look of realization on their faces just before I kill them. And how they fear their own fates, even going as far as cursing the people who ordered the attack against us. Do you think I should target the City Lord now?" Fernia answered and then asked what to do next.
"Yeah… That might be a bad idea. You're strong, but even you would have a hard time if a noble vampire appeared. You said there might even be one. So, we shouldn't go into that fight alone. Even I wouldn't do it and I have the best ability to use against them. So for now go around and kill the humans that are cowering in fear of us, instead of embracing the safety that comes from worshiping Mother." Acialia answered.
"Alright! Come in whenever you're ready. We have made enough space for both of you to jump in. And we have stopped speeding up. We will speed up again after you join us." Aieria said after she and Fulgiana had prepared for Acialia and Flariana to arrive.
Flairiana, let out a massive stream of fire breath ranging from one tower to another, covering the whole wall and incinerating all of the guards there. Not even the metal used to manufacture their weapons went without suffering. Each weapon had been melted into a simple puddle of molten metal in an instant.
"Tehe, now that's what I call setting your spirits ablaze. Ahahaha so beautiful… Huh…" Flariana said, then noticed something odd on one of the humans. "Hmm, I knew they had women fight in their military forces as a way to avoid families forcing their marriage… But to think there was a woman here… Or did my flames burn off the thing that men have?" She questioned looking over to check another pair of legs. "Nope, it didn't burn it off. What a shame, she would have had a lot of fun in one of those hidden villages under our protection. She could have actually lived a free life. Many of these people could have. But a woman… At least she wasn't up while with child. I might have gone and summoned a wide ranged fire storm out of rage. Like, how dare they have a pregnant woman in such a dangerous position, don't they care about that unborn?" She continued her rant and then decided to take off to join up with the others.
"Hey sisters, we should be careful with the one we kill. Some of the defenders on the wall are women. So… Just in case we should…" Flairiana suggests.
"Don't worry, with the storm we make, if they get hit and are with child… It should be enough to kill without pain. Even if it isn't, is it really our fault for sending such individuals to the frontline?" Acialia replied, understanding the issue.
"Don't worry about it my children. The humans not in a place of worship have made their choice. Mercy is granted at discretion. You need not worry about it. I won't absorb the souls of those who could not have changed the situation. Such a thing would violate my ethics. After all, I'm not a baby killer like them." Eternia said, easing the hearts of her babies. "Also, we will give a choice to repent to all of the women with child, as well as the children. The men… Hmm, do any of the villages need any men right now? That is aside from the one where we toss all the succubi." She continued.
"Yes, there are a few villages that will need some with the influx of people we are bringing them this time. And I suspect a few more villages will need to be built…" Solaria answered butting into the telepathy.
"Then, in that case we will take all who have a complete change of heart. Not just a repentant person. But one who truly believes and worships me as the goddess they should." Eternia explained after the answer from her mother of all people. "Oh, mother, can we spend… Some time together after this is over, I've missed you." She added, with a bit of embarrassment in her tone. Indicating she remembered the day when she was taught the mysteries of the human form.
"Pfft, darling. Don't you know, you don't have to ask for it. I'll always treat you well. Let's have some fun and get wild with it. But first comes work. And then finding a new place to nest. The mana in the old nest is too weak for all five of those beautiful grandchildren of mine to continue our family. And this city doesn't need to be protected anymore, ungrateful bastards. I even helped construct it. Damned things…" Solaria explained, musing about how everything went up in smoke. "Oh, Vitaliana just showed up back at the gathering base. How are you, little cutie? Do you need something?" She continued all giggly.
