Noah looked up and noticed Vesper's silhouette, his pupils dilating in fear.
"Help me! An entity is chasing me!" Noah pleaded urgently.
Vesper raised his hand to stop Noah from approaching. "Toss me the key!" he yelled back.
Gulping, Noah hesitated. With the urgency of the situation pressing in, he tossed the key toward Vesper.
Vesper caught it in mid-air and gestured by tilting his head, signaling for Noah to run past him.
As Noah turned the corner and sprinted past, leaving the chasing entity to Vesper, he glanced back and gave Vesper a meaningful look.
Vesper checked Noah to ensure there were no tricks. Strangely, Noah's aura changed from red to green.
Amused, Vesper smirked, pulling out a short sword and assuming a fencing stance, waiting for the mysterious entity rushing up the stairs.
