Not long after, the quiet room's door was opened again. Nora had already brought back some food.
Breakfast was very simple. Two steamed buns, a large bowl of congee, and a dish of pickled vegetables. However, although it was simple, the preparation of it was very fastidious. Just looking at it made a person hungry and start to salivate.
Leo hadn't eaten for a whole day and night and had long since been so hungry that his stomach rumbled. How could he wait now? Taking the food, he began to wolf it down.
"Slow down. If it's not enough, there's still more." Nora gleefully watched Leo eat and couldn't help but give him a reminder. After a pause, she then looked at the books piled at Leo's side and asked, "You've finished reading all these books?"
"Mhmm. Finished all of them… These books were pretty useful. I feel like my understanding towards runes has increased a level…" Leo continued to answer Nora in between eating his meal.
