The two man with a baby and a box flying in mid-air walked towards Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
"So, the Potters changed their secret keeper and kept it a secret from me?" said the older taller man, breaking the silence. "Yes." replied the younger one.
"Sirius-" "I will tell you everything once we are in your office, Dumbledore, I don't want to be over heard." Sirius said breaking Dumbledore in mid-sentence.

Once they reached the headmaster's office, Dumbledore took his place at the headmaster's chair and actioned Sirius to sit in front of him.
"Ask" Sirius told Dumbledore a bit wearily.
"How did you know about the Potter's death before me?" Dumbledore asked, sympathy ringing in his voice.
"I had performed a complex charm on James and Lily which will make me aware as soon as life leaves their bodies" Sirius replied, tears gleaming in his beautiful brown eyes.
"Why did the Potters change their secret keeper and handed you this note?"
"It was all my fault" sighed Sirius, tears now leaking from his eyes. "I had foreseen that the Death Eaters will torture me and force the truth serum down my throat, just to know their - their address. I had suggested to make Peter their Secret Keeper as he was the weakest of us and the least closest to James. I however didn't knew that that rat would be a Death Eater. James thought that if there was any deaths, I-I should not be blamed and handed me this-this note. "
"How do you know Peter Pettigrew is a Death Eater?" asked Dumbledore raising an eyebrow.
"I heard him on my way to James house from the apparition spot, crackling loudly saying that the Dark Lord will praise him and make him his favourite. He was talking to that Severus Snape." Sirius replied haterate boiling inside him.
"Tell me about this Animagus thing." Dumbledore said rather calmly.
"Me, James and Pettigrew are Animagus. I am a dog, he is a rat, and-and he was stag."
Silence fell between the both of them.
"Do you know how Harry survived tonight?" Sirius asked.
Dumbledore nodded
Sirius looked at Dumbledore with a mix of confusion and concern. "Alright, Dumbledore, spill it. How did Harry survive? What's the real story?"
Dumbledore took a deep breath, his eyes filled with a sense of gravity. "Sirius, the truth is that Harry survived because of his mother's love. When Voldemort tried to kill him, Lily's sacrifice created a powerful protection. It was a love so strong that it formed a shield around him."
Sirius's eyes widened in astonishment. "So, it was Lily's love that saved him? How does that even work?"
Dumbledore nodded, his voice filled with reverence. "Yes, Sirius. Lily's sacrifice created a charm that connected Harry to the love that saved him. As long as he calls his Aunt Petunia's house his home, he'll be protected from Voldemort's dark magic."
"I am not leaving my godson in those muggles hands." Sirius said, his eyes burning with anger.
Dumbledore looked at Sirius with a solemn expression, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "Sirius, I understand your concerns, but we must adhere to the plan. Harry's safety is of utmost importance."
Sirius clenched his fists, frustration evident on his face. "But Dumbledore, sending Harry to the Muggles? It doesn't feel right. He deserves to know the truth."
Just as Sirius was about to protest further, the door burst open, and Severus Snape rushed in, his face pale but filled with an unusual sense of urgency. "Dumbledore, I have news! Voldemort... he's gone. Defeated."
Sirius and Dumbledore exchanged surprised glances, their eyes widening in disbelief. "Are you certain, Severus?" Dumbledore asked, his voice tinged with a mix of hope and caution.
Snape nodded, his voice filled with a newfound determination. "Yes, Dumbledore. I witnessed it myself. Lily's sacrifice, his love... it destroyed the Dark Lord. Voldemort is no more."
A wave of relief washed over Sirius, the weight on his shoulders lifting. "So, Harry doesn't have to go to the Muggles? He can stay with us?"
Dumbledore's gaze softened, his voice gentle yet firm. "Yes, Sirius. Harry can stay. And Severus, I must commend your bravery and loyalty. You have truly changed sides for the better."
Snape nodded, a rare smile gracing his lips. "Thank you, Dumbledore. I will do everything in my power to protect Harry and ensure that Voldemort's reign remains a thing of the past."
