Aurora's pov
We finished having lunch earlier than before due to the fact that Alexandro wanted to really go back to the office to complete his work. When we reached I smelt that strong vanilla smell and I was are I could recognize it from anywhere, it was Alexandro mother's perfume and I could already see he smelt it due to the change of his facial features, he seemed more serious than what I saw minutes ago."why don't you want to meet your mother?" I asked out of curiosity, "she want me to get married and have kids, to one woman of a kind" he responded, and I totally understand he reasons, every parents would want their child most especially the first and only son to give them grandkids, I think he was over reacting.
"Aurora!!!, my little angel how are you doing ? " Mrs Russo said while hugging me so tightly, I knew she appreciated me a lot and even took me as her own daughter at some point, "Hii Mrs Russo am good and you ? " I responded, "am good my sweetheart I bought you some goodies" she said and handed me a box of my favorite cookies, she knew what I loved and then she looked at Alexandro with that glare that a mother give a child when he is being stubborn and that was when I realized a pretty, good looking and sophisticated woman sitting and smiling in our direction, the she is the woman Alexandro was talking about, I was just then fueled up with jealousy that could even burn my clothes if possible. "What are you doing here mother?" Alexandro said coldly trying to avoid his mother gaze, "you clearly know the reason of my visit am here to present to you your future fiancée" Mrs Russo said all giggling, I chuckled at the idea of thinking of Alexandro being a perfect husband, and was getting ready to listen to the excuse he was going to give this time. "Mom I can't get married to her" he said, "WHY?!? She is beautiful, brilliant, and comes from a good family" his mother responded sounding kind of annoyed," that… that because I have another woman in my life" Alexandro said, "WHAT?!??" I and his mother responded at the same time, since when has Alexandro started dating and I didn't know about it ?! Did I miss an episode?.
"And we are even expecting a baby" he added, "WHAT?! " this time not only I and Mrs Russo but also the young lady, "Alex since when ? Who is that young lady ? Where is she ? " Mrs Russo kept asking him questions, "she is right in this place and in this room " he responded, I thought for a minute that he was referring to the young lady and that all was planned along to surprise his mother, before I knew it I realized all eyes where on me and that when he said something shocking me to death, "Aurora is the woman I love and the woman that is carrying my baby", he approached me and even touched my belly!!!, "Aurora?!?" Mrs Russo said with a look that couldn't be described….what did I do to deserve all this ?!
