The advisors made another move soon.
Jylan read in the news that his dukedom had been taken over, and when he found out, he made a relieved sigh and gave the newspaper boy a tip. Sebastian had been curious as to why he had such a calm reaction, so when he asked, the butler tilted his head back to meet his eyes and smiled. They were both still wearing their disguises - and Sebastian had been stunned speechless with how amazing Jylan looked. His chocolate brown hair was glimmering slightly in the light, and his eyes were a light evergreen, and there was a small group of freckles on his nose.
"Well, the answer is that they can't destroy a dukedom as big as mine. And the only reason I became a duke in the first place was to meet you. Now that I've done it. my title doesn't matter much anyway."
Sebastian had blinked, and then he had swatted the butler's head with a newspaper, simply because he didn't know what else to do, which was why after that, Jylan had laughed and grabbed a second newspaper to whack him back. This had snowballed into a small street fight, which quickly stopped once Sebastian's wig almost fell off.
He admitted it, things were bad. Very bad.
But as soon as he looked at the person in front of him, everything suddenly vanished, and all he could see were those eyes, which were also looking at him.
How could things ever be bad if those eyes were looking at him?
