Sebastian had always been a coward, which was why he couldn't bring himself to stab the one person who understood him with a dagger. Although, that didn't stop the guilt. What a stupid prince he was indeed - suddenly it felt like every misfortune in his life had been at the hands of those hooded judges - and he had been so stupid, giving them all the power they desired. Stupid idiot prince, Lunatic, that he was.
Sebastian, the dagger now cold in his hands, walked down the ever-familiar path where he and Jylan first went on a trip in that carriage. Sebastian almost smiled. Yes, he'd never stab someone he liked that much. But that did mean he wasn't a prince anymore. The Judges had taken over, and he was now useless.
How befitting. Lunatic, Idiot, and now … Useless.
Sebastian looked up, and whispered, to everyone he had harmed,
"I'm sorry."
And then a voice answered from behind him, "What are you sorry for, my prince?"
