As the door closed behind them, Jylan and Sebastian stood awkwardly next to each other for a minute, staring at the flower petals on the bed, which were arranged into a heart shape, and scented candles, which smelled like love. Sebastian had no idea how, but this was also the work of Lei and her marvelous minions.
"...Who's taking the sofa?" Sebastian asked, and then corrected himself, "No, wait, I will, never mind." Jylan sighed and flopped onto the bed, and Sebastian grabbed some paperwork and settled down on the sofa.
"I wonder what Lei wanted us to do," Sebastian said flatly, and Jylan burst out laughing, so much that he knocked over the red inkpot in Sebastian's hand, sending the red ink, which looked strangely like blood, spilling over the sheets and bed.
"... oops. One more thing for the cleaners!" Jylan laughed, and Sebastian smiled, then set his paperwork down. There wasn't any ink, and thus no point in doing paperwork.
Jylan, after that, promptly fell asleep on the side that wasn't wet with ink, and Sebastian nodded off on the sofa.
But when Lei headed in for her early report in the morning to see what looked like bloodstained sheets, she immediately misunderstood. "Blood? That's kinda old fashioned, Sebas." Lei said with a face, and Sebastian raised a questioning eyebrow. Apparently, red was an outdated color now.
"Oh, but you did it with consent, right?" Lei checked, and Sebastian scoffed, blowing a strand of hair away from his face. "Why would I?" Lei's face dropped, and she said, "SEBASTIAN! WHAT THE HELL?!" Sebastian covered his ears and said, "What?" Lei grabbed his shoulders and said, "WHY DO YOU MEAN, WHAT! Even if you're a duke, you can't commit a crime!" Sebastian blinked and said, "When did I commit a crime?" Lei sighed into her palm and said, "Sebas! you slept with Jylan…"
Sebastian dropped the red sheets.
