Chapter 8 - Kill of The Orc

Bang…

…?

The hammer was on the ground, but there was no sign of Khan. Before the orc's hammer reached closer to Khan, he had already rolled his body on the right side. Saving himself from the attack. He got up from the ground and held on to his sword.

The orc gazes at him while the hammer edge remains on the ground. Khan clenched his sword tight from the handle, moving his hand with the sword back.

Woosh…

He threw his swords at the orc from a certain distance. The orc moved his hammer up from the ground. And he looked towards the coming sword.

Clang…

The sword point hit the nose of the orc. But there was no damage done by the sword. Clang. The sword fell to the ground while the orc nose remained unharmed. Orc just looked at the fallen sword and moved his gaze at Khan.

Just as I expected, the sword didn't do any harm to the orc skin. The sound felt as if the sword made contact with a metal thing rather than skin. Quite tough, it is.

I need to figure it out before this orc kills me right away.

Rrrroooaaarrrrr….

The orc roared, emitting a powerful aura. He dashed towards Khan with his incredible speed. Khan was a bit slow to react to the coming orc.

Smash…

Upon reaching near Khan, the orc used his powerful strength to strike at Khan with his fist. But Khan had likely predicted such a move and moved aside. The ground was shattered by the fist of the orc.

I saw the strength of the orc's fist. Khan was showing a bit of anxiety in his expression. In fact, the orc's punch is a similar force of power, just like his hammer.

But there's something else that made Khan anxious, which was the feeling of growth. He was feeling that the orc was growing every time he struck Khan.

Khan ran and distanced himself from the orc as much as he could. He turned around and stared at the orc, whose aura around him was getting stronger and stronger.

The pressure around Khan was getting intense. Rather than panicking about this, Khan became more determined to defeat the orc.

His expression was getting serious.

"It's unfortunate that I have a lesser chance against this monster, but that doesn't mean that I'm completely at a loss."

I just need some time to figure it out while avoiding his attacks. The advantage that I have right now is that I can dodge and predict his attacks. That orc giving me more openings to strike is good, but the skin is the only issue that I have.

The bigger problem is his strength and the increase in his speed. I must observe and have to keep striking.

At that moment, while he was thinking, the system popped up near his face.

[you can try out fusing your fire and mana together.]

"isn't that---"

While his focus was on the system, the orc, seeing Khan, spaced out, jumped up in the air, and fell towards Khan.

Sigh…

"Does this orc think I'm some kind of blind man?"

Khan lifted his head up and saw the orc just above him in the air.

Crash…

The dust was everywhere in the surrounding area. In the dust, the orc looked beneath his feet, but there was only ground shattered by his powerful landing. Looking around, there was only dust and nothing he could see or feel.

His eyes were spinning here and there. But Khan was around out of the cloud of dust.

"isn't the fire, that is on the blade already on it because of mana?"

[yes! But it's not because of your mana but because of the mana of the strong that you can infuse your mana with the flames. [Making these flames stronger than before]

Khan closed his eyes and only focused on pouring his mana into the flames. Small sparkling lights appeared came out of the body of the khan and became to fuse with inside the sword blade.

[flames have gotten stronger.]

It can kill an A+ monster now.

Khan looked at the flames; he could feel the heat getting stronger, even though the flames felt stronger. He smirks. Inside his head, he said,.

Mana, what an amazing source of power! If I had known this, Kai would have been of no use. But it doesn't matter if the past is past. I just must focus on the future for my revenge.

The dust was getting clear, and Orc, who was searching for Khan, turned around. Behind him, at a certain distance, Khan was standing. Holding his sword with a smile on his face.

The orc felt a strong power coming from the sword. The orc was calm, unlike before. His gaze was on the sword.

Woosh…

Khan dashed towards the orc, seeing the man approach him. The orc lifted his hammer upward. Khan reached the range of the orc's attacking point.

The orc swung his hammer downward at Khan. With his right foot strength, he closed the distance between the orc and him with just a single long step.

Crash…

Slash…

Using his sword, when he reached closer to the orc's leg, he made a small cut to the orc's feet. He moved away from the orc after successfully dealing a small amount of damage to it. Black blood came down from the cut.

At first, the orc didn't react to such a small cut. But then he roars loudly; all the globin's there covered their ears, as did the dragon lizard.

This is working; if I continue to attack him like this, I'm sure I can take him on. This problem is solved.

Woosh…

The orc dashed at Khan without taking much time and reached just in front of Khan, who was stunned by the orc's speed.

His power increased!!!

The orc lifted his hammer upwards and again began to throw bows at him, repeating. His speed at throwing the hammer was incredibly fast, but Khan was able to avoid every single one of the attacks.

Increasing his speed was troublesome for some, but it's no use; I can easily see through his attacks.

The dust was fading in because of the orc's attacks.

Crash… crash… crash…

Once again, the dust has covered them up. Khan distanced himself from the orc, disappearing into the dust.

The orc's head moved around left and right, unable to detect Khan's presence. This orc felt frustrated. He roars in anger.

Hearing the roar of the orc, Khan, who was in the dust, knew now where the orc was. He charged in that direction.

Hearing the running footsteps of someone, he turned around, but it was to late for him. Khan was already just next to him.

Stab…

The sword was stabbed in the right rib. The orc felt the pain while his face was sweating. The place where the sword was stabbed was burning from the inside out. Khan smirked, looking at the awful face of the orc.

"What's the matter, big guy? Scared to attack me further?"

The orc extended his left hand, which he was holding the hammer in.

Auah!!!

He swung his sword towards the khan. Khan tried to block it with his leg and arm.

Bang…

Crack…

It was the sound of his bones cracking as soon as the arm came into contact with the hammer.

Sh*t, I got hit!!!

Woosh…

Khan went flying away and fell to the ground. And begin to roll on the ground.

Cough… cough…

Aghhh…

Khan was in pain because that hit on the arm had made the bone break. He grabbed his arm. "D*mn it, I was careless. Agh… I think I get hold of myself right now."

He stood on the ground with the help of his sword. He had an anxious expression on his face, showing the pain he was feeling right now.

But for him, it was not important right now; what was really important to him was to kill the orc before the orc killed him.

His expression was changed. Showing his frustration towards the orc.

"Alright, you big sh*t, I'm tired of playing easy on you. I will kill you. Be ready. I will make sure it's painless."

He ran with his sword in his right hand, even though he was unable to use his left arm. He still somewhat didn't look like he cared.

He lifted his hammer up. And smashed on the ground when Khan was in his range.

"I'm tired of your meaninglessly doing this same move."

Khan moves aside from where the hammer strike. While the hammer on still on the ground. Khan swing his sword towards the arm.

Slice…

The orc's arm was cut in half. The orc was in pain as he screamed while clenching on the half of the arm that was still attached to his body.

Arrrrr…

"Was that all, big guy? Let me show you more of what I can do!!"

Khan strikes towards the stomach part of the orc, and when he does so, he is hit by a powerful bow from the orc in the guts.

Kugh…

But this time I held on and stood there without moving an inch back. "Was this the best you could do? I thought you were getting stronger each time you attacked." He said it in a cold voice.

Moving back his arm, the orc charged his fist at Khan once more, but he dodged the attack. "…?". Getting closer to the orc's chest, he pointed his sword forward.

Stab…

The sword was now inside the orc's body. Precisely saying stabbed in the orc's heart.

The aura around the orc vanished, and his body was now completely motionless. Thud, the orc's lifeless fall to the ground.

The only one who now remained standing was Khan, with his expressionless face.
