She even made sure to jiggle them now and then as she spoke in the pretense of adjusting to a comfortable position.
"Sir, your food is served," She said as she went to stand beside Alpha Lake.
"You can bring the food over here to us, can't you see we're busy," Adeline asked haughtily.
"Pfft!" Audrey snorted, holding herself back from laughing.
"What's funny, maid?" Adeline could not endure Audrey's attitude any longer.
Audrey looked at Alpha Lake, expecting him to say something to support Adeline, but, to her surprise, he had mirth dancing across his face.
Audrey couldn't believe it, was he secretly conspiring against Adeline with her? She never knew he had this mischievous playful side to him.
"I'm sorry, I don't serve visitors, I only work for the Alpha, if you're hungry, please go to the Pack's kitchen…or go for a hunt," Audrey said with a smile, then turned and walked to the dining.
