"I said follow me, little kitten," He smirked as he said it, sending warm tingles down her core.
"I'm not your kitten. My name is Catherine." Audrey said as she pryed her wrist away from his hold.
But he held it again. He didn't seem like he was giving up anytime soon.
Her words, again, were familiar, but he pushed the possibility away.
"Stop resisting me..."
"Alpha Lake!" A sweet voice rang behind them.
Audrey looked him in the eyes, and this time, it was her turn to smirk.
She snatched her hands away from him and left the kitchen. He stood there, boiling in anger.
Ms. Bridget just rolled her eyes at the girl that had just roudly matched into her kitchen.
She already knew how everything would end.
Alpha Lake stood fixed in Audrey direction. He wondered if she was honestly oblivious to this strong chemistry between them.
