Audrey slowly stood from her chair but Leon suddenly held her hand, standing up, too.
He shook his head at her, "Don't worry, I'll take him to the bathroom," He told her, looking into her eyes.
Audrey sighed and placed her hand above his, slowly removing it from hers, "It's alright, Leon, I'll take him, after all, it was my son who caused his current condition, " Audrey gave him a small smile.
"But, Mikhail is also-"
"Leon..." Audrey called, looking meaningfully at him.
Leon sighed, stepping back from her. He was doing it again, trying to stop her from doing something just so he could be happy. He knew she hated it when he did that, but ever since Lake arrived, he'd been having a hard time taming his emotions.
As Audrey walked toward Lake, Leon looked over at Lake and saw him staring intently at Audrey, he wasn't comfortable at all with the way this strange man stared at his friend.
