Alex's and Mira's footsteps echoed across the surface of the Primordial Expanse.
As soon as they were finished with their 'business', they wasted no time in getting the heck away from those damned floating islands.
Thankfully, there was no need for them to jump off the edge and hope they could teleport down to the ground in time before they went *Splat!*
Alex simply found the same location he had arrived at when he was teleported up to this island and replicated the stomp he performed back in his fit of rage on the surface.
And voila!
The pillar of light once again revealed itself to the duo, shocking Mira and leaving Alex with a proud smile like he was the one who had done something magical.
The pillar up on the floating island was different though, it had an end.
More specifically, it extended for about 10 metres into the air before ending abruptly.
