Althea didn't know what she would find when she searched Leon's communicator, but she actually found on there was not what she was expecting one bit. Contrary to what Leon might be thinking, she didn't believe his story one bit — at best she believed he might have been roped into doing something he didn't fully understand.
But after taking a look at his communicator, it was clear that wasn't the case — well, in some ways he actually was roped into doing it. Unknowingly though.
The first thing she took notice of was the audio file simply titled 'Mira - emergency', which she naturally chose to listen to first as it was the one thing that struck out to her. It was her daughter's name after all, even if they had become estranged from each other over the years, she still held some love and lingering attachment for her daughter – no matter how stoic she tried to make herself seem.
