Corax staggered backward, clutching to his side where Mira had cut him deeply.
His face was twisted in agony and disbelief. Blood seeped through his fingers, pooling on the ground as he tried to steady himself — but his body was weakening, and fast.
Panic flashed across his eyes as he realised that he was dying, and very quickly.
But Mira didn't let him fall.
She advanced, with her sword glinting in the same eerie silver light as she prepared to finish him off.
'Looks like she's gotten an even better grasp of the space element…' Alex thought to himself, recognising just what exactly the silver light surrounding her blade was.
Even Alex, who watched from the side, could feel its potency.
'That thing could damage even me…'
