I never agreed to be in a library, but glad I am now.
Rick Venaton sat on the wooden chair with the only table that was present in this bizzare library.
The library was enormous and magnificent compared to anything his eyes had ever seen. It's shelf's and the floor were made of pure gold, it's books looked like diamond and the roof above seemed as though a galaxy of stars.
According to the voice within him, this was the Library of Heaven and Hell holding the intimate theories and history.
Created my the infamous Anansi trickster god.
So far he had read like a dozen books, surely he wasn't the one doing the reading, however whenever he touched the cover of the book, it's knowledge would get sucked into his mind and automatically he would know it.
'Makes all that reading in highschool for nothing.'
So far he had accumulated a lot of theories about Heaven, some would call the home of the dead, afterlife, Valhalla, Elysium, Yomi, dwarfs and a whole lot more to be mentioned.
The history of Heaven was by the divine beings and many gods that ruled the past supremely, still the leader was unknown. The same applied to hell.
Hell's history started from the border which was called, Asphodel meadow in some ancient context however, Rick Venaton would refer to this as pre Hell.
In this Hell existed a great number if gods and powerful artifacts, but what interested him more was the sanctuary of the sins of the soul he read from one of the books.
To gain more understanding if the Sins of the soul (seven deadly sins) he would have to go there deep into pre Hell and past perilous dangers.
'Come to think of it, I still have zero battle skills, what if I encounter a beast, what shall I do then.'
He was a devil however didn't know what that truly meant. From books he read in his life as a human only explained Devil as wicked wretched beings that craved destruction.
This would be incorrect as angels turned out to be very different from the textbooks.
'This isn't even heaven.'
Another book flew off the shelf and into Rick's hands.
[This book will emphasize on why Sin of the soul really is so pay attention]
Rick nodded distinctly, this was why he found a liking to this place a download library that actually gab him the needed knowledge without reading. How convenient.
SHWOOOOM!
The gleaming textbook increased in brightness as it throbbed in Rick's grasp and in the next second began to load him with it's knowledge.
According to the book, the seven deadly sins was a gift from an incarnation. Not his primary ability but alike to those video game mastery, skill and other attributes.
This would make him stronger.
However Rick's interest was dwelling on who the original owner was.
No information was written about the user in the book, corrupting Rick's mind with doubt and anxiety.
'Would my abilities as a demon be the same as the original user? Or will I significantly stand on my own?'
Rick was bidding to own the powers of the original owner, who would be extremely powerful and stand a better chance to inching closer to his goal.
The book in Rick's hand broke from his grasp floating back to the shelf it was taken from.
[What fuels your hate for heaven and divine beings?]
"The idea I spent thousands of years under immense punishment, revoked my goals and died a meaningless death every single time! They messed with me greatly, so I am going to do the same to them." Rick clenched his fist with a determination to move forward, just imagining the image of his win made him highly impatient.
A thousand years if suffering would be replayed back in a million folds.
[Should I share a fact with you Rick Venaton]
Giving a wordless reply, Rick waved his hand out to show a signal of approval.
[Do you know that angels use deaths to regulate the amount of cosmic energy flowing through a universe?]
[Tht is the cause of death! To regulate the planet]
"So what does that matter?"
[How many times did you die and what was the intervals of all this times]
"I died a hundred times of transmigrating before the end of.... The first day?" A realization was starting to spring out from his chest that placed caution and resentment on his face.
[Yes, the highest number of transmigration for anyone is three times, afterwards you go to hell]
"Fuck no! That's not possible! That asshole! Those assholes! No it can't be!" Rick hunched his back, breathing heavily and pulling hard on his hair in apprehension.
"They used me one hundred times to moderate planets, they used me....." Rick could not even finish his sentences because of the shock in the air.
All those irredeemable deaths, horrors, tearing his body into many pieces, being sliced like he was bread, eaten alive!
All his suffering was watched, yes to moderate planets like he was some kind of toy.
"FUCK! AHHHHHHHH!!!" Rick shrilled at the top of his voice standing right and wrapping his hands on the desk he sat on. Out if annoyance and hatred he flinged it into the air crashing into the golden shelves and shattering into a thousand pieces of wood.
This wasn't enough to suppress his anger as he is darted to the nearest shelf driving his hard fist into it.
SMASH!
His hit simply sent the wind flying off violently with no scratches or bends on the shelves body. The material was much thick and sturdy.
[Calm down! It is useless to rage out anger on the innocent tables and shelves]
"Innocent...." Rick fell to his bottom on the ground of the library as tears began to roll down his eyes. He wrinkled up hi face and shook his head, "nothing is innocent not even the word itself."
[I hope your hate has deepened significantly because that's what makes a great Devil]
[If you agree to it, I would have a few training sessions with you before we enter the borders! I must only be led by a powerful master]
Rick shook his head and folding his lips. 'I will train hard and kill those bastards! I will become OP and destroy them all!'
[Nice choice]
[Get ready for training Devil of Death]
