As Roxy and A'Moi left for their date. Ignus wanted to go talk to his mother. He was having doubts about fighting Ingra and he knew that his mother was the right person to talk to. He and Brenna went to the castle and was let in by the guards.
Ignus and Brenna made their way to the throne room, where Ignus's mother was waiting. As they seen her Ignus' heart flutter. He felt like a kid again wanting to run to her and be in her Arms. He had to remind himself that he wasn't a kid no more. So he walked up to her as she sat on her throne.
"Mother, I wanted to talk to you about Ingra and how he's been treating me. I feel like he's been unfair and disrespectful, and I'm not sure how to handle it," Ignus said, his voice firm but respectful.
His mother's expression grew serious as she listened to Ignus's words. "Oh, Ignus, I am mad i cant do anything about it. I detest him and his actions. No one should be treated the way he's treated you. Also if he was to lose he will be seen as incompetent and will lose his position. This is your fathers words." She gave him a smile. "So beat his ass."
Ignus nodded, grateful for his mother's understanding. "Thank you, Mother. It means a lot to me to have your support."
His mother then noticed Brenna standing beside Ignus. "And who is this?" she asked, her gaze shifting to Brenna.
Ignus smiled, gesturing to Brenna. "This is Brenna. She's... special. We've been through a lot together, and she's chosen me as her master."
His mother's eyes widened in surprise. "Chosen you as her master? That's quite an honor, Ignus. Tell me more about your adventures together."
Ignus proceeded to recount the whole story of how he met Brenna, from their first encounter to their recent adventures. His mother listened intently, her eyes shining with admiration.
After he finished, his mother was left speechless. "I had no idea, Ignus. You've been through so much, and yet you've become so strong."
Ignus smiled, feeling a sense of pride in his accomplishments. "It's been a journey, that's for sure. But I wouldn't be where I am today without Brenna and the others."
His mother nodded, her expression thoughtful. "Speaking of which, Brenna mentioned something about a special ability that comes with being contracted with a black wolf. Is that true?"
Ignus nodded. "Yes, it is. I've noticed that I've become stronger and faster since being contracted with Brenna. I thought it was just my training, but now I realize it's more than that."
His mother smiled, a twinkle of pride in her eyes. "Well, it seems you've gained quite a powerful ally, my dear. Just remember, don't let Ingra get into your head. He may try to manipulate you, but you are stronger than that. Stay true to yourself and your beliefs."
Ignus nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "Thank you, Mother. Your words mean a lot to me."
As Ignus and Brenna left the throne room, Ignus felt a sense of reassurance. He knew that with his mother's wisdom and guidance, he could face whatever challenges lay ahead, both in the tournament and in his ongoing battle against Ingra.
