Elara pushed up on the sofa. Air was flowing out from her parted lips while stared intensely at Vesper who was now weighed down. His face was dismayed and remorseful.
"I...I...I... I am... Sorry!" He stammered and shamefully turned from her. Unable to stand a minute, he rushed upstairs.
Elara's hand swayed to the air, deeply muted to utter a statement. She drove the hand through her wet hair and hung it there. Her eyes rolled within the socket while tried to comprehend what just happened.
Was she dreaming again? It... It... must be a dream like the last time.
Her hands covered her face pitifully, "It was just a dream, wake up!" She yelped.
"It was not a dream, Elara!"
Elara's hand dropped from her face as Alpha Vesper's voice sounded close to her face. He was inch apart from her and her eyes already darkened.
"I thought you left." She gasped surprisingly.
