"Thrain?"
Despite that Vesper healed him, Thrain had become very lean and pale. He looked like someone who suffers internal illness.
"Aren't you healed yet?" Vesper asked, having a stain of concern in his voice. "I gave you break to rest."
"I couldn't, My Alpha." Thrain mumbled, his voice was shaky.
Bram and Caspian supported him to sit. He cleared his throat before speaking. "She is a dangerous being. I have been down with nightmare ever since. She intentionally let me live so to deliver a message to you."
Vesper's ears tinkled and pondered amusingly, "Intentional? Nightmare?" He couldn't believe a wolf such as that Lady would have any impact on his Betas to the point that it caused them nightmare.
Thrain nodded quietly.
Rage sparkled out of Vesper's chest, he stood from the grand couch and heaved forward while still gripping tightly to the couch's arms, "She really got so much nerve?!"
