Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

The plan to kill – to kill his parents, was certainly not something he decided on suddenly. The idea and thoughts of it were things he always thought about. He might have considered stopping during the whole plan if they were in a calm phase, but they had complained and shamed him more and more during his down time.

He lived in a house, but just twenty minutes away, there was a radical and extreme region of people. Crime wasn't a rarity there, and he certainly lived in a city that was considered to be one of the most criminal ones in the country.

With this in mind, he thought of robbery. It is something very difficult but less suspicious than anything else, so he was able to do it perfectly. His plan was simple – wait in the car of his parents in the morning. He had a key for the car as he had just received his license – something he only did so he could drive to school and have an easier time, at least that was what they told him. In truth, he would be their driver and servant most of the time, just like always.

He was hiding himself in the back, his parents were driving together to work, as they worked close to each other. They never looked at the back, even when driving him, at most they threw something there and would pick it up later on, but it was in the morning, and like always, they were screaming and stressing about to get away.

This day was no different, Ludwig in the back with a pistol in hand. It was a self-build one, he lived in a country where they were heavily restricted, but through the dark net, he was able to order single components to post boxes throughout the city, finally assembling the weapon together with the help of Videos he found online.

Slowly, he heard the screaming of his parents as they entered the car, oblivious to him in the back. He didn't make any noise, and they didn't look to the back, not even throwing there something. It was Friday and they had mostly finished all their work, so nothing of note would be there anyways.

They drove off, soon they reached a nature reservoir – there were a few in the city, to preserve the beauty of nature even in the city. This was a place his parents often halted at. Not to look at it, but because his dad always had to hurry in the house and would then have to go to toilet from drinking too much coffee.

It was somewhat disgusting. Not peeing in the wild, no, when nature calls, that was fine. But in this case, doing it nearly every day, as if it was a public toilet… really disturbed Ludwig not only once. His mother was also disgusted, but she kept it to herself, being used to it.

As his father went out, Ludwig moved up from the back. His mother had put on loud music from the radio, so she wouldn't hear her husband peeing. A certain rap was running, one about shooting and ganger-life.

Ludwig had looked up the radio station's website and saw that they would be playing Rap every Friday, this was good. His mother didn't like it very much, but it would only take a minute or two, so she didn't care.

Listening a bit to the loud music, she didn't hear how her son moved in the back. He positioned his sweaty hand that was clinging to the plastic gloves towards the door handle, while his other hand pointed at his mother.

Making some motions, he took the second where a gunshot would be fired in the song and opened the door hurriedly, then switched from the back door to the front door, his mother looked to the back curiously, not sure if something had just happened.

Ludwig took this moment and positioned both his hands on the gun. Everything happened so fast, so before she could even register what happened, Ludwig already shot through the open front door into her head, aligning with the gunshot in the song.

It was slightly loud, but the father had thought nothing of it, still, he screaming to his wife "Make it quieter, will you? I am just peeing, it's not that loud you wench!"

This reassured Ludwig that his guess wasn't wrong and it was truly well planned, although it wounded more like a double gunshot that a single loud one. Still, he was fine. So, he rushed towards a few trees and looked, with the sound of streaming water, he heard his father.

As he approached, he heard how his father pulled up his pants and was struggling with the zip-up, he wasn't thin himself, which is ironic since he always complained about Ludwigs pretty average weight.

Ludwig waited behind his father, shortly watching him and thinking about how pathetic he was, so pathetic and still talking so much! He didn't hesitate any longer and pulled the trigger, another headshot… it wasn't too difficult, as his targets were unassuming and he was close to them.

With this, he killed both his parents, and he suddenly felt a weird feeling. It was… thrilling! Killing people felt much better than he had thought. He read about the shocked state some criminals felt after they killed someone, but he didn't feel that at all.

He knew he wasn't a psychopath, for he could emphasize with people, but it seemed his mind was otherwise so twisted, that murder seemed 'good' to him. Yes, they deserved it! It wasn't random murder; it was reasonable and understandable!

Instead of being shocked of the death, he was ensnared in the thrilling sensation, but he quickly stopped himself and thought back to his mission. He took the wallet and fished out a dozen notes. It wasn't rare for his father to have cash at hand, so the result was good.

Then, he went back to the car and fished out the wallet of his mother, ignoring the bloody scene that was left behind. After taking her cash too, he threw both wallets to the ground before closing the back door of the car and cleaned the scene a bit.

If he left anything there, then that would be fine too – he had a reason to have his DNA there. After he finished everything, he rushed away into the woods. There, he found a grilling place that someone left from the day before. With a bit of fire, he reignited it and threw the gloves into it.

He knew that it would take some time till someone drove here, as it was still very early, and normally no one would have the time to look around here. Unfortunately, Ludwig soon heard steps and hurriedly moved the burnt charcoal around a bit, the little fire would go out, but the charcoal would still be hot and burn the rest of the gloves that he hid under them, leaving no traces. With this, he left the crime scene and disappeared into the woods.

He didn't look back and left. He had prepared his bike the previous day at the end of the few trees that blocked his way. After sliding through them, he took the bike and drove home. He still had school today, and that would be the perfect excuse for why he didn't know of his parents' death, the suspicion on him would be near zero.

He still expected to be questioned by the police, so he trained his facial expressions while he was driving home.
