Good morning sweetie, said Alex's mother as she opened the curtains. She hummed and gestured her mother to close the curtains, as today was her dayoff. Cynthia stood beside her daughter's bed and as she held her hand she started to pull her out of the bed. Both of them burst out laughing but still she managed to pull her off her bed. Alex snuggled on to her mother's lap. I know sweetie it's your dayoff but aren't you going out with Sam today, she asked while patting her back. As she heard her mother speak, her eyes were wide open, she looked at the clock in her room and then ran in a lightning speed towards the bathroom. She was ready in no time and looked pretty as always. Sweetie, breakfast's ready, Alex's father called from the kitchen. Dad can I skip today? she asked as she was getting ready to go out. No dear not today, her dad replied. After having breakfast with her parents, she hugged them and said goodbye to them. She ran towards the bus stop and fortunately got there in time. She looked at her watch and took a sigh of relief. She went inside the restaurant and saw a familiar back of a man and hugged him tightly from behind.Oh come on, you are not even trying to be surprised, she said it looking at Sam, who happens to be her boyfriend.
