The Marshal left with a wide happy smile, leaving behind a professor in complete disarray. Ren groaned, burying his face in his hands as he slumped forward over the desk. His ears were flaming red and his hidden face and neck were not any better.
"Why... why does this keep happening?" Ren muttered, muffled by his hands. "Can't he just act normal for once?"
He could practically feel the remnants of the Marshal's kiss still hovering on his cheeks and his eyes.
Kade did not kiss him on his lips but the way he touched them with his cold thumb left Ren feeling both hot and bothered!
"I'll ask for a reward if I manage to come earlier, okay, my sweet?"
Kade had said so while eyeing his pursed lips and Ren would be an utter fool if he did not get the hint.
Honestly speaking, it was not that Ren was not looking forward to his first kiss but that also did not mean he was entirely ready. He had no experience at all!
