Dorion got his answer. For a moment, he thought it was a nightmare. He often had them, so all he had to do was wait for it to pass. So, Dorion waited. From the burning afternoon to the cold evening to the darkest night, Dorion stood in the same place, looking at the empty benches, waiting to wake up.
That's where he encountered a sick Limpaka. Some animals must have bitten off half of his wing. The feeble body tried to get up and walk further. However, it fell back on the ground.
"Are you abandoned by your peers too?" Dorion asked softly, kneeling down beside the injured Limpaka. He didn't see any difference between this animal and himself. Weren't both of them feeling too heavy to continue walking forward?
