After Jane freshens up, she comes and sits on the table.
"So, brother what are you going to do today?" She asks.
"Well, nothing important. Do you want something." He says.
"Yes, I want you to buy me a game console. All of my friends have that." She says while making a pleading face.
'Hmm, my sister is 12 right now and she is very sensible as she has never asked for anything before.' He thinks.
"Ok, but don't always play on it. You have to study also." He said.
"Yeah, thank you bro." She says happily.
"Now now, don't pamper her too much Jason." Her mother comes with the breakfast, which is some sandwichs and pancakes.
"It's okay, mom. We should sometime spend money on ourselves also." He says as they start to eat.
"Mom, you are best chef in the world." Jane says while eating.
"Yes mom, Jane is right." He compliments her.
"Thank you, and when Jason activates his ability I will make your favourite steak." She says while smiling.
After that they eat their breakfast with some small talk here and there.
After eating Jason goes to his room to study.
He likes to read very much. Whenever he gets time he reads.
After reading for about 3hrs, he takes his wallet and goes out of his room.
"Mom, I am going to purchase the game console for Jane. Do you need anything else." He asks while going towards the door.
"After buying the game console, also buy the daily necessities on the way here." She says while doing laundry.
"Okay, mom." Jason says and then goes outside.
While going inside the elevator he sees a person coming quickly.
"Mr., please hold the lift from closing."
He does that and when the person enters, he realises she is their neighbour.
"Hello, mam." He says to her.
"Hello, Jason. So how is the studies going." She asks while messaging someone.
"Everything is good. So how was your project for the company." He says her. She is the designer of Silva company. It makes women's clothes and undergarments.
"It was great. Thank you for asking." She says while putting her phone inside her pocket.
"And, I think it's about time you activate your ability right." She asks.
"Yes, after this week."
"Well, don't be discouraged if you don't activate any doppelganger. There are many people like me who are not able to activate any doppelganger." She says.
"And you can also come to my company to work, for advertisement purposes. You are handsome and you also have a well built body, it will be great for advertising." She says while eyeing him.
"Well, I will think about it." He says awkwardly as he knows that he is just above average.
She pats his shoulders and says "Don't be embarrassed in front of me. Don't you remember we know everything about ourselves after spending that night together."
"Wha...What are you saying?" He stammers while going in the corner.
Just then the elevator opens.
"Well goodbye, Jason. It is really nice teasing you." She says and then goes outside.
"Damn, witch." He curses and also goes outside.
As he came to the gate, a flying car stops infront of him.
"Need lift, Jason." Evelyn says.
"No, I just have to go around the corner." He tells her.
" Well, hop in. Don't be so stiff." She says.
"Ahem, okay then." He gets inside the car.
"So where do I drop you." She asks as she starts the car.
"Um, in the City centre market." He says.
"That's 5km from here and you were saying you just have to go around the corner. Do you dislike me that much." She says very sadly.
"Ah no-no, I just didn't want to trouble you." He says hurriedly.
"Young man, you should also think about yourself. Don't always think about other people." She says.
As they move towards the destination, they have some small talk here and there.
After a few minutes, they arrive in the City Centre Market. It's the main market of this sector. And you can get anything you want here.
Jason comes out of the car.
"Thank you, mam."
"How many times have I told you call me Evelyn." She says.
"Um, thank you Ms. Evelyn."
"That's much better." She says and then goes on her way.
