"So this is Earth," the first shadowy cloaked figure muttered, watching over the bustling night of the modern city from the windy top of a skyscraper. "It looks very similar to the Citadel of Karspeh without all of the dense magical formation all over the place!"
"Remember Kahruth, we are here to carry out our mission as the Apostles of the Chaos God, not as otherworldly tourists," said the second shadowy cloaked figure, acting more stern and composed than the first.
"Nahruth, spare me all of the seriousness. We have no time limit, so we might as well make ourselves like a tourist in this worldā¦ Ooh! I saw a food stand, let's try it!"
"Can't do, we'll leak our 'ohr' signatures if we use our spells to go there."
"Then how do we get down?"
"..."
After some consideration, the two of them proceeded to skydive into the ground head first. A rather loud thud was able to be heard afterward as it garnered the attention of the night passerby, only for the crowd to find nothing but a single caved asphalt that shaped like a person on the ground.
"Thank the Chaos God that we're immortal!" Being the only one who tasted the gravel, Kahruth celebrated with hands in the air as both of them entered the city's veins of alleys. "So, what is our mission again?"
"Hmm, the Godspeaker told us to assassinate this one individual and ensure that this person is sent to this World Line's version of Hell." Nahruth conjured a device similar to that of a smartphone, before fiddling with it until the screen was filled with the photo of a person and then showing it to Kahruth. "I don't know the details of what is actually happening, but we mustn't fail this mission at all cost."
"In the name of the Chaos God, she is as gorgeous as the Weaver of Ornamental herself!" Kahruth screeched, unbelieving that a person like this lived a magicless world such as this. "Those lush eyelashes, the adorably delicate figure, that sharp yet sadistic gaze, that perfect nose, and that beauty mark on the edge of her thin yet ravishing lips! Do you think that the Godspeaker would allow it if I took her as my wife?"
"Seems like you have the same first impression as I do, heh. But no, this is actually a dude."
"Even better!"
"... Bruh, I didn't think that you have that side within you."
"Wait, you think that I'm a man this whole time?"
"You're not a man??"
"I'm a full-time maiden! Nahruth, we have been working together for more than 400 years! How come you didn't know this!?"
"You never said that, and I never asked! Don't blame me! Blame our Apostle's form that makes us appear as humanoid, comprehensive shadows!" Nahruth then proceeded to clear his throat, even though he didn't visibly look like having a throat, appearance wise. Both of them started to exit the alley and into a certain restaurant's parking lot. "Regardless, forgive me. Now, let's focus on our mission. I already have the coordinate so we can slowly sneak to our target's position.
"Remember, Kahruth, don't use any magical spells or anything in between of using an 'ohr' and influencing the very core of existence by harnessing our Chaotic Force. It's better to be on the safe side than the sorry side.
"We don't want to get detected by whatever Pantheons or Creators in this world."
"Why though?" A large question mark appeared on top of Kahruth's mind.
"I heard from another Apostle that while they don't give much shit nor influence much of the events happening in the mortal world nowadays, they still can get pissy if we brough a foreign influence intoā¦ what are you doing?"
"What is this weird carriage? It looks interesting," Kahruth said, prodding one of the parked vehicles like it was some sort of sleeping bear.
"If I'm not wrong, that thing is called a 'truck'. It's quite the heavy transportation vessel that used a certain liquid made from dead flesh and blood of long gone mortal entities to move itself. I heard that it can pack quite a punch too from how utterly heavy that thing is."
"Can we use this to just kill our target?"
"Well, it's true that the mortals here are very vulnerable since they don't have any kind of augmentation or magical prowess to enhance their bodyā¦ but to just ram our target without sophistication-"
And then there was a loud cacophony of a destroyed vehicle window.
"I'm already in!" Kahruth shouted as she played around with the steering wheel. "How to activate this thing?"
Before she knew it, Nahruth was also already inside the driver cabin.
"Here, let me show you." Nahruth brute-forced his hand onto the key-lock mechanism of the truck using pure strength, manipulating this machinery beast to gain life and roared. "There you go. We can try driving it now."
"Woohooo!"
"Now, it's time to give our target a premium express ticket to hell."
