Chereads / Beg me Demoness / Chapter 12 - Let down

Chapter 12 - Let down

"About 1%," said the witch, glancing at my body briefly.

One percent, so I'm still ninety-nine percent human. Let's go.

"That's all," she said, as she began to transform back into her old and weary self.

"Did you remember everything I said about this world?" she asked me again.

"Their way of society might be different, be careful of my emotions, that's the only thing you said."

"Those two things are the only ones that come to my mind right now. Come, I have more work to do other than just letting you go," the witch said as she walked toward the door and opened it.

"Is she going to bid farewell to me when I go?" I thought to myself as I slung the little bag onto my shoulder and followed behind her. But before I could step out of the room, she suddenly spoke.

"Bring one of those brooms with you. There are a few of them, choose whichever you like."

As she spoke, I hurriedly grabbed a broom that was leaning against the wall and walked behind her. I didn't really understand why she wanted me to choose one. Wouldn't all of them just be used for cleaning though?

But I realized that what I thought was definitely wrong when we stepped outside. To my surprise, Filora was also there.

"Why are you here?" I asked, not expecting to see her.

"To remind you that if you think about running away, I can summon you anytime I want," Filora replied sternly.

As she said that, I felt an electric shock shoot through my back. Damn bitch, Why did she have to make things worse than they already were?

Looking down, I glanced at the broom I had brought, now wedged between my legs.

"Can I just walk? This seems really dangerous. What if I fall?" I looked at the witch, hoping she would at least show some concern for my safety.

"Didn't I say that you have to come here before three days? If you walk from here, it will take at least two days for you to get there. That's how I remembered it from a few millennia ago. I don't know how things have changed now, but I know that town still exists," the witch said, gazing up at the sky. It seemed like she had some history with that town.

"Now, think again about the way you want to go," her mood changed in the next second as she exclaimed toward me.

Hearing her words, I thought about the direction she mentioned the town was at, and suddenly, I felt my legs lose their touch on the ground as the broom began to float upward.

"Oh. Ohh," I exclaimed as the broom moved uncontrollably around for a few seconds before I finally managed to stabilize it in the air.

"You're quick to learn things," I heard a praise from the witch below.

"See you in two days," I replied hastily, not daring to look down because I was afraid the broom would fall. With those words lingering in my mind, I thought about flying through the sky in the next scene.

"Whooo!" I exclaimed as the broom flew toward the sky with incredible speed. I clung to the broom with all my strength.

Wait, since that Filora can summon me whenever she wants, wouldn't it be much easier if she summoned me after I took all those things from the town?

But at that point of thinking that I'm already far away from the castle.

Flying up in the air, the wind hit directly against my face, making it hard for me to look straight, and there were also annoying birds always getting in my way.

But I have to say, the view I see up in the air is truly mesmerizing. As I had guessed, we are indeed in the middle of a giant forest, and up in the air, I can only see endless forest area. A few giant mountains can also be seen on the horizon.

Putting my hand into the little bag, I carefully took out the map the witch gave me. In it, I saw that the whole area was depicted in just slight drawings. Interestingly, my movement through the forest was marked with a red sign, while the town I'm heading to was marked with a blue mark.

"Is this GPS?" I fold the map again and putt it back inside the bag after confirming I was moving in the right direction. Speeding up my broom, I flew through the sky swiftly.

And only after flying for another long hour did I catch a glimpse of the end of the forest.

"Stupid shit, why do they have to build that town so far?" I cursed in my heart as I glanced at the sun, which was giving off an annoying amount of heat.

By that time, I was sweating profusely, more than I usually do when having intercourse with those women.

"aghh," but suddenly a moaning sound from a girl reached my ears as I flew.

"Huh?" I looked down hurriedly, but in my haste, I shifted my weight too quickly, causing me to lose my balance on the broom.

"Fuucckkk!" I screamed as I tumbled from the broom and fell towards the forest below.

"Auggh!"

"Ouch!"

"Shit!"

As I fell, every tree branch that hit my body felt like whipping shots.

Finally, at the end of the fall, I saw a giant bush on the ground where I landing.

"Shrush!"

With a loud sound, I crashed into the bush, thankfully finding it devoid of spikes or anything harmful.

For a few seconds, I just stared straight at the sky.

"What the fuck just happened?" Everything should have gone smoothly, but one mistake landed me in a situation like this.

"Is Ardia mention about a situation like this?" I wondered aloud as I lay in the bush. Suddenly, I heard the familiar moaning sound close by.

To my disappointment, upon hearing those moaning and sighing sounds, my legs suddenly gained a whole new energy, urging me to get up and go check it out.

Getting up from the bush, I stepped down onto the ground. I had to say, that bush really felt like a comfortable mattress.

Focusing on the sound, I slowly walked toward it. After walking for a few minutes, I peek through a bunch of thick bushes to see a beautiful lake right in front of my eyes. Even flying up in the air, I had never noticed this before.

Lying on the sand at the edge of the lake were a man and a woman, the source of the moaning sounds.

The woman appeared to be around nineteen or twenty years old, not quite mature yet, while the man lying beside her seemed a bit older.

She didn't have a particularly striking body, just a flat chest and a modest butt, but to the man who was moaning like a cow, those seemed to be enjoyable.

The slim girl sat atop the naked man, vigorously moving on his penis. To me, their screams of pleasure looked more satisfying than this kind of intercourse.

Her flat chest and buttocks loose my curiosity as soon as I saw her, and other than the woman, I had no interest in looking at the man.

"What let down, they might be a new couple," I slowly backed away from the bush and turned around to walk away from them. Even when I was a few steps away from them, their sounds could still be heard loudly.

"Are they trying to expose their affair like this?"

As I walked, I looked around the area to find my broom. The damn thing had fallen somewhere close to me, but I didn't clearly see where it had fallen.

Walking around in the forest, I searched for a couple of minutes but didn't manage to find it. However, while I was looking for it, another group of people suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Huh, who might you be?" one man from the group asked me. Upon closer inspection, they seemed like a bunch of villagers, holding what they considered weapons—mostly tools used for working in the fields, and some even had horsewhips in their hands.

The look they gave me was suspicious, considering they had weapons and seemed completely cautious about encountering a stranger like me. There might be things in this forest that they fear.

So, if I want to make friends with them, I have to behave completely normally in front of them.

"Ugh, hello fellow man's , I'm just a traveler heading to the nearby town," I said, hoping that was friendly enough.

But when I looked at their faces, I realized something was wrong.

"What did he say... what the hell kind of language is that?" one of them muttered, clearly confused.

Uh, seems even though I can understand them, they cannot understand me. That witch never mentioned something like this before.

"Keep your guard up, this might be one of those shape-shifting monsters, bastard, Even though he managed to change into a human form, he didn't learn how to talk to us," one man among the group suddenly said as he pointed his pitchfork toward me.

"Yes, this might be one of those creepy shits," urged by that man, the group of people suddenly began to point their tools at me.

"Whoa, whoa, wait, hold on! I'm not an enemy, please understand!" I tried one more time, but they didn't seem to understand me. In fact, they gained some courage and slowly walked toward me.

"Shit, this is going in the wrong way," seeing things turning worse, I turned around and huridly began to run.

"Don't let that creep escape!" the group of people behind me screamed as they threw their weapons toward me and began to run after me.

"Shit, I didn't even do anything to any of you, you bastards! So why the hell are you trying to kill me?" I began to move randomly from side to side to avoid those sharp things they threw at me, but even though I managed to dodge some, there were still a few that hit my body.

"Aww!" I exclaimed in pain as a hard object struck my back, but without stopping, I continued to run through the forest.

As I ran, a tool thrown by those villagers suddenly flew toward me and landed right in front of me. Seeing the object, I recognized it as something familiar.

"Huh, this looks like my broom."

Seeing it, I hurriedly grabbed the broom while still running.
