His mind kept replaying the events, searching for a solution, all while he hunted down the man responsible for almost costing him his unborn child.
The day he stormed off, Dominique had been engulfed by a rage so intense, it almost blinded him. The image of Kalina's fear-stricken face haunted him, her wide, terrified eyes when he had entered her room, the way she shrank back, as if the world around her had become too dangerous to trust.
