"Oh my God, Lily!" She exclaimed, her voice trembling with fear and shock.
Kalina rushed towards Lily, who was lying unresponsive on the bathroom floor, her cat Mittens perched protectively on her chest. Tears streamed down Kalina's face, her hands trembling as she frantically tapped her friend's cheeks, her voice breaking with desperation.
"Mittens, sensing the urgency, jumped off Lily's body and darted out of the room as soon as Kalina knelt beside her.
"Call an ambulance!" Kalina screamed, her voice filled with raw panic as she turned to Lance and Axel, who stood frozen at the door, their faces pale with shock.
"What the heck is going on, and why are you crying?" Lily groaned, her eyes fluttering open, her voice weak and raspy. She tried to sit up, her movements sluggish.
