"She's been found, boss." Liam announced as he walked into Nikolas's sitting room, his finger pressed to his earpiece as he listened intently to the person on the other end.
Dominique jumped up from the couch as soon as the words were out of Liam's mouth. His eyes widened with a mixture of relief and urgency. "Where?" He demanded, his gaze piercing as he searched Liam's face for answers.
"The guards at the gate of the mansion said she just returned home. She came in with a taxi." Liam responded, his tone steady.
"Let's go." Dominique said, already moving towards the door with purpose, his posture rigid with determination.
"Dom." Nikolas called after him, his voice calm but firm.
Dominique turned around, impatience flashing across his features. "Yes?"
"Try not to lose your cool. Remember, you are the one who owes her an explanation." Nikolas advised, his voice a grounding force.
