"What?" Dominique asked his family, who were staring at him with various expressions on their faces. He made a move to stand up and go after Kalina when he didn't get any response from them, but was stopped by his mother.
"You stay here. I will go check on her." Joline told him in a tone that left no room for objections before heading in the direction Kalina had left.
Dominique, now visibly agitated, turned back to his siblings. "Would you both stop staring at me like that if you won't say anything?" He snapped in irritation.
Mia's expression was one of shock and a little bit of fear. She was thinking what everyone else was thinking: Kalina might be pregnant.
