"Wake up," Dominique gently caressed Kalina's sleeping face gently urging her awake.
They had just touched down in Italy after a relatively brief flight. Kalina had succumbed to slumber almost immediately after nearly finishing the bottle of sparkling wine provided for her.
Meanwhile, Dominique remained occupied with his laptop, intermittently stealing glances at her as she slept. Once she had drifted off, he carefully carried her to the inner room of the plane, tenderly tucking her into bed.
Kalina, as usual, wasn't easy to wake up.
"Five more minutes," she whined sleepily, her voice muffled by the soft sheets as she cuddled closer to them, her eyelids fluttering in protest against the intrusion of wakefulness.
