"Glacier!" Iceberg exclaimed excitedly.
"Get up, get up! Glacier, it's time to pack up. That rhymed!" Iceberg said.
"I'm up!" yawned Glacier. She then popped up and exclaimed, "Oh!" in excitement. Glacier got up, grabbed Iceberg, and flew to their old house. She retrieved her most prized possession, a picture of her, Iceberg, their old mother, and their former father. Iceberg's most cherished item was a stuffed seal named Winter.
"I'd never leave without Winter," Iceberg said as he hugged the stuffed seal tightly.
"Let's leave before our new mother gets mad," Glacier suggested.
They both flew to the palace.
"My children, are those your belongings?" the Queen asked sweetly.
"Yes!" both Glacier and Iceberg replied simultaneously.
"Here are my presents. I gave each of you an earring," the Queen said.
"Thank you, mother," Glacier and Iceberg said in unison.
They each grabbed an earring, with Iceberg taking the emerald earring on and Glacier the ruby one. They clipped the earrings onto their ears.
"Children, now we have to go," the Queen said sadly. The Queen, Glacier, and Iceberg all flew to the school, with guards following them.
"Children, I'm glad to be your mother, but I can't take care of you while I'm in my palace," the Queen said sadly but honestly.
"But mother, why do you need to be in the palace and not with us?" Iceberg asked sadly.
"Because my kingdom is at war right now, and I need to ensure that it does not get attacked. Besides you have your big sister," the Queen said with a smile.
