I wake up in what seems like a room—-wait where am I? I'm about to start sitting up straight but everything comes crashing down like a slideshow in a cinema. Ella, Nick, Isabella. Now that I think of it, why did they put me in such a comfortable king-size bed?
"-we need to make sure I make Rowan pay me a large amount before we give him to her!"
I opened my eyes more than when I had woken up so that I could see who it was that spoke. I instantly shut them due to the overbearing light that slices through them.
"Looks like someone's awake," Ella says.
"The curtains," I say softly. Not because I want to speak lightly but because my throat feels dry.
