The moonlight shone down on the small town, casting an eerie glow over the houses and streets. I could hear the crickets chirping in the distance as I walked through the woods, their song mingling with the rustle of the leaves in the trees. I had been wandering aimlessly for hours, trying to escape the confines of my home and the rules of my stepmother. Suddenly, I heard a voice calling out to me...
I hesitated, unsure of what to do. The voice sounded so urgent like it was trying to warn me about something. But I couldn't be sure if it was safe to follow it. What if it was a trap?
