We reach what I believe to be the safe house but I'm not sure because all I can see is sand. The rebels told me that it was just camouflage and there's actually a door there. They all proceeded to enter that door and I was left confused.
I enter the door and it's a staircase I first see. I descend the narrow staircase, my steps echoing in the tight space. The door to the safe house creaks as I push it open, revealing the hidden refuge beneath the earth. The air here is cool, carrying the scent of damp soil and something metallic—probably the steel beams that brace the ceiling. Luca insisted on that extra support according to Michael. I'm grateful for it. This place has to hold, no matter what happens above.
