Innocent person? Was Adric calling her innocent right now or did she not cleanse her ears properly while bathing? Oriana rubbed her ears to be sure; she wasn't imagining things.
"What do you mean, innocent person?" King Curtis asked.
Adric pushed his chair back a little so that he could cross his leg comfortably.
"What is that word, when someone is being falsely accused and the judge is not being fair..." He tapped his table, trying to think of the word.
"Injustice," his father, who had been quiet, added, only to receive a glare from his wife. The man cleared his throat and continued eating.
Adric nodded, "I guess...but all I'm saying is Princess Oriana is innocent in all of this,"
"Huh?" Both Oriana and Sophie had the same expression on their faces as they turned to look at each other.
Sophie pointed at Oriana, "How is she innocent? Then what happened to me!"
