Marcus looked up from his laptop as she entered. "You look like you've got something on your mind."
"I need your help," Suzanne said, closing the door behind her. "It's about Andrei."
Marcus frowned. "What about him?"
"I think he's hiding something—about Diana," she said, lowering her voice. "I found a photograph of her with him and Viktoria. They knew each other, Marcus. Andrei never told me that."
Marcus leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "You're sure it was her?"
"Positive," Suzanne said. "And now he wants to send me away, to Prague. He says it's for my safety, but I think he's trying to keep me from finding out the truth."
Marcus sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. "Suzanne, you're walking a dangerous line here. If Andrei's hiding something, it's for a reason. Pushing too hard could get you killed."
"I don't care," she said, her voice firm. "I need to know the truth, Marcus. Please, help me."
