Suzanne folded her arms, her gaze never leaving Josie. "Nothing. Just a friendly conversation."
Josie's lips twitched, but she kept quiet.
Andrei sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Suzanne, can I talk to you? Alone."
Suzanne raised an eyebrow, glancing at Josie. "Of course."
Josie hesitated, then plastered on a smile. "I'll just… leave you two to it." She brushed past Andrei, her shoulder grazing his as she left the room.
When they were alone, Suzanne turned to Andrei, her arms still crossed. "What do you want?"
Andrei's jaw tightened. "What was that about?"
"Nothing I can't handle," she said dismissively.
He stepped closer, his voice low. "I'm not in the mood for games, Suzanne. If you're trying to stir up trouble, it's not going to work."
Suzanne smirked, her anger flaring again. "Oh, I'm not the one stirring up trouble. But you might want to remind your guest where the boundaries are."
