"We'll here." Fininus 's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.
Khloe looked through the window and back at Halle saying " I really don't want to go alone ,can I maybe go with you then we can come back together after what do you say?"
Fininus glanced at Halle through the rear view mirror waiting for her response
Halle said "No ! this is something I have to do alone be good wait for me we'll talk when I get back ."
" Alright I'll listen to you ." Khole said shyly before hugging her tightly grabbing their things , getting out of the car and heading for the spacious apartment building.
Halle watched her back feeling inexplicably sad she was all alone now.
"Shall we go ahead miss we are running late,"Fininus said.
"Yes," Halle said.
The rest of the car ride was silent and went by in a flash.
In no time they were in front of a large spacious mansion Halle felt like she was going to faint she had never seen a house this big before.
"This way madam," fininus said as he opened the car door like a gentleman, halle thanked him and followed him to the entrance.
BROWN MANSION
Halle was received by two maid at the door the maid Mary and Martha seized up their soon to be third mistress their eyes showed a hint of distain and pity for she simply looked to plain with only a old fashioned floral dressed on and flat shoes , without any makeup on her face and loosely tidied hair although she looked plain she still had a pretty face.
"Miss this way please," mary said ,"we have been order to prepare you properly before you meet the rest of the family members."
Halle was slightly stunned she came dressed causally because she didn't except her dad to have rich family she thought she would meet him once and go their separate ways because she didn't what to be involved with a man caused her mother years suffering.
Given things had reached this far ,Halle reluctantly agreed and followed the maids through the back door mansion .She didn't know why they didn't go through the front door but she didn't what to question why and just stayed silent.
