Aurora threw the keys on the center table and fell inside the couch. With a disturbed and heavy mind, she rested her head on the feather of the couch and felt her eye go blurry again. She was about to cry all over.
What was the multitude of pain that was crippling her? First, she may have lost her relationship and she still wasn't able to reach Kenneth. Her calls keeps going to voicemail.
She felt a strong rigidity in her chest that was difficult to contain. Her breathing was coming out forced and she was having a strong headache already. More and more questions begin to reach her, and the fact that she had no answer to them was killing her.
Aurora was becoming restless and trembling terribly. She picked her phone again and helplessly began dialing Kenneth's number.
When she got the same response, it increased her discomfort.

" Where the fuck have you been? didn't you see my calls? "
Ava, Aurora's twin came into the house, through the back door. Her sudden emergence startled Aurora.
She was wearing a bald cap. it was to cover her original blonde hair. Ava had tanned her skin to melanine and wore a fake sightly bigger nose. She looked like a completely different person.
Aurora sighed and laced her sister with her weary eyes.
" We agreed that you pick calls and never ignore them. " Ava took off her coat and flung them at Aurora.
Aurora shoved the smelling coat away and still waited for Ava to sense her obvious sour mood.
" Have you been visiting the shore and signing for me as I said? " Ava asked.
A not so long time ago, Ava began working at a shore where sea materials were transported. But, she quitted the job, while she still wanted to keep sharing the benefits. So instead of going to do things herself, she sent her sister give a daily signature in her place every mornings.
" Um... yeah... yeah, "
" Good. You have to be there in the next three days and sign, its very important. " Ava yawned and walked up the stairs and eventually Into her room leaving Aurora to deal with her shit alone.
Aurora was still in the sitting room until her mother walked down the stairs to get water.
" Why are you not upstairs Aurora? "
it felt good hearing her name. Aurora sprung to her feet and gave her mother a hug.
" We can talk about this tomorrow when you come back. First, go shower and get some rest. " Denise told her.
Aurora was semi-relieved, at least someone noticed her dilemma. She obeyed and went to her room.

( DAMIEN'S POV )
Damien wouldn't be visiting his normal spot where he watched Ava's house that night. He didn't feel the need to. There was the fact that the entire house had thick blinds covering all the windows 24/7.
Damien was certain that if they wanted privacy so much, then they must be hiding something.
His stepbrother Gideon had a point, there was the possibility that he was chasing the wind with his idea that the lockwood family either had the rust, or know where it was.
The Rust was an ancient diamond that had gone missing decades ago. The four family statue of power had stopped at nothing to find the Rust, even menial gangs and cults were out to find the diamond.
Damien's bloodline were the original owners, that was because a member of The claude's dynasty found it on Wayne's bloodline soil.
Since the rust was found on Wayne soil, the Wayne seized ownership. And although the Claude's dynasty fought for it, the Wayne bloodline were about to keep the diamond for themselves. The initial finding of the diamond happened about Fifty years ago. And the war before happened between the Wayne's bloodline ancestors.
The diamond mysteriously went missing ten years ago, and as word got out, everyone affiliated with the dark world was out to get it.
When Damien was old enough to move on his own, he began his investigation. Many people in his bloodline believes that the Claude dynasty has the diamond, but Damien didn't want to follow the crowd.
There was multiple wars and forceful attempts to get the rust from the claude dynasty, but it yielded to nothing.
Apart from the Wayne bloodline and the Claude dynasty, there was the Lanchester House and the Lockwood Dynasty. Those were the four leading statues of power.
Why did Damien choose to follow the lockwood dynasty even after the leader was dead? he'd studied the lockwood carefully. While everyone had a base and well known territory, the lockwood was believed to be so unorganised and poor that they lack the resources to own one.
Because of their low street creds and reputation, they stayed out of the war of the rust. The others deemed them too weak and useless to even be a contender. In their defense, menial gangs and cults were able to kill lockwood members, meaning that they were powerless and broken.
But that was exactly what attracted Damien to the lockwood side. He believed that the diamond was always in the rough.
Damien had witnessed the brutal breakup that Ava witnessed. To the best of his knowledge, the relationship was sailing fine, what went wrong? he wanted to know.
Damien shook his head and took a sip of his glass. He knew it was going to be a long night. One where he would continue to drink alcohol and analyse his mission.

Aurora stood inside the restaurant staring at the window she'd broken the previous night. It was brand new. She couldn't believe it, how was it so?
Just as she wondered what was happening, Hendris walked into the restaurant and took his seat at his usual spot.
She started her movement to him by storming. But as she got closer to him and sensed his energy, her speed reduced, she became scared.
Before she had the courage to speak to him, he drew out a paper containing his order. Aurora took it, regardless of the fact that she knew his order.
" Did you fix the window? " She asked him.
Damien glanced to the window, his man has done a fabulous job.
" Are you dumb? or... or deaf? " Aurora meant that in the nicest way possible.
" I did. " He spoke to her for the first time. And as he did, he felt a current shift.
Aurora was surprised, " Why? "
" I think what you should be telling me is thank you. "
Aurora was thrilled that mysterious Hendris was speaking to her, " I just want to know why you__
" Get me my order please. " Damien stung.
Aurora felt her heart break as Damien's cold tone reached her. She slowly turned around to get his order.

Work closed for the day, aurora still had a lot on her mind. She decided that she would make a stop at Kenneth's House an talk things through with him.
She was scared to face him, but a reply from him would place some friction to the tightness occuring inside her chest.
As she wrestle with her car keys, Sasha tapped her from behind.
" Hey, "
" Hey... hey Sasha. "
" He still hasn't called? "
Aurora shook her head, " I'm going to his house. "
" Is that a good idea though? I mean, it's clear that he doesn't want to see you. "
" I need to speak to him, it's difficult to go a second without thinking about him. "
Sasha sighed and nodded, " Sure. But I have something to tell you. My dad wants me to leave this town. "
Aurora was stunned. " You're leaving? "
" Yeah... "
Aurora was immediately passing through second hand fear and anxiety, she took her hand. " Why? where are you leaving to? "
" Oregon. "
Aurora squinted, " Where is that? "
Sasha smiled, " It's my dad decision, I have no choice. "
Aurora had the urge to cry, she would be loosing her only friend. After loosing her fiance few days ago. The tears didn't stay in her eyes for long, they soon fell.
The pair hugged for a while.
" Would you please come around in the evening and help me pack? " Sasha asked.
Aurora sniffed, " Of course. " She immediately agreed.

The action of stopping at Kenneth's House was futile, since he wasn't at home and had changed the locks.
Aurora felt as though she was going insane. She was crying nonstop, her hands that were on the steering wheel were vehemently shaking. She was tossing her feet to the right and left hand side consistenly, she was weary.
What would become of her when Sasha eventually leaves? and there was no kenneth to fall back to? the fact that he'd already changed the locks to the house, spoke in volumes how determined he was about the breakup.
Aurora had to deal with the reality that she didn't just loose Kenneth forever, but soon, Sasha.
She was lucky to make it home without having an accident. But as she walked briskly to the front door, she realized that the door was wide open.
She was concerned deeply, it was almost midnight, the door shouldn't be open. Slowly and very inquisitive, she walked into the house and what hit her immediately was mixed vibes and energy.
Suddenly her legs were too heavy to move. As she made her way past the dinning, she opened her mouth with the intention of calling for her mother.
But before she could make out a sound, a massive hand covered her mouth and pulled her into the kitchen, behind a wall.
Aurora was breathing heavily and without the knowledge of who had grabbed her. She stood, panicking as a massive body stood in front of her.
" Don't say a word if you want to live. "
A hoarse and crooked voice was released.
Her mouth was closed, but not her eyes. The man who held her against the wall was tall and very muscular. Her unstable eyes went higher and she got a face.
It took her seconds to recognise him from the shape of his chin and jaw.
It was Hendris.
