"What is this? What did you do?" The Primordial Demon questioned in utter cluelessness, the once angered and easily beat down mage was replaced by an eerie silhouette with trails of shadows leaving his body.
"I-it can't..be." Gaianox who was left on the brink of death, found the strength to muster a few words out of his mouth. His blurry vision trailed down to the shadow engulfed assassin as he found it hard to believe what he witnessed.
Malphas examined this unexpected change in Rai for a few moments, disbelief was the natural feeling anyone would encounter in such a situation. After a moment of realization, he laughed out loudly.
"Ah I should have known! The universe truly is grateful to me. I came with the goal of capturing just one Essenbeast, but who would have thought I'd run into two! And not just any Essenbeast, The Primordial Shadow Essenbeast, the wolf of darkness, Kuriyami!" He exclaimed joyfully.
Amongst the twelve Essenbeast in existence, Kuriyami otherwise known as the "Wolf Of Darkness " was regarded as one of the strongest Essenbeast to have ever existed.
"You cunning wolf, how the hell did you manage to get inside the body of that human?" Malphas questioned as his suspicions were finally confirmed, from the moment Rai's earth Raisen was dispelled. He sensed that something wasn't right with the mortal, and apparently his instincts were true.
The eerie silhouette, Rai was silent.
His glowing eyes gazing at the Primordial Demon General who awaited an answer from him. "Not going to talk? Fine by me, after all.." As Malphas spoke, a huge axe created out of flames materialized out of thin air in his right hand.
"I'll get every answer I need from you once I capture you!" He exclaimed as he plummeted forward at a great speed, the ground beneath his feet was ignited by the flames of his axe as he launched forward at Rai. He raised his axe and slashed it down at the mortal who remained immobile.
"Such Insolence." With with a dual voice just like he used when he utilized his dormant ability [Assassin's Mode] for the very first time, the assassin said. As he spoke it sounded like two voices spoke from within him. The louder voice embodied his primal instincts or darker desires, resonating with a deep, ominous tone now revealed to be the beast that resided within him. While the other voice represented his unconscious human tone, characterized by a lighter, more ethereal quality.

The trails of shadows that seeped out of Rai's unconscious body entangled the demon general, restricting his movements and holding him down tightly in a single spot.
"I-I can't move!" Malphas endowed with worry exclaimed within his thoughts.
"The other's have sensed my presence, and that's on you; Malphas." Out of annoyance and irritation, the wolf of darkness who currently controlled the body of Rai expressed.
Slowly, he raised his right hand and built up a dark ball of energy with trails of shadows and sparks of electricity rotating around it. "Primordial Beast Art: Shadow Raisen." With a soft and intimidating voice, the spiraling ball of energy grew larger before he slammed it down at the demon general.
"AHHH!!" The demon general exclaimed as the Raisen tore through his flesh, electrocuting every cell in his body and eventually reduced his demon form to mere particles of dust; leaving behind a ten foot deep crater with Malphas's body within it.

As the dust settled, Malphas was no more. Kuriyami approached Gaianox who chuckled softly as he gazed down at him.
"Long..time no see, Kuriyami." Gaianox said, greeting his long lost acquaintance.
"Gaianox, you look terrible." The wolf of darkness replied.
The earth beast laughed softly, attempting not to worsen the pain that he endured all this while. "A reunion with your kind and that's the only thing you could say? Hehehe typical." He sighed softly, slight fragments of the past rushing through his mind. "But I have to know, how did you get into the body of that human?" He added.
"How you say? Well it all began the moment I crossed over to this measly realm, I wandered the earth for centuries searching for the perfect place to rest. I had no interests in meddling in the affairs of those beneath us, but that all changed when the paradoxes figured out where we were. And I had no choice but to use it." Kuriyami explained.
"It huh.." Gaianox uttered.
"Yeah, the primordial sealing technique." Kuriyami replied.
The primordial sealing technique is an ancient seal that binded an Essenbeast to a host, primarily it was a merging sequence between a god and an Essenbeast. But with a human it becomes unfathomable, once binded together they both become one forever till the moment of death.
"I don't remember you being this talkative, what caused the change of heart?" Gaianox asked, driven solely out of curiosity.
"Because, we both know this will be the last time we see each other again. My presence has drawn him, and any moment now he will come to capture you and neither of us are powerful enough to take him on." Kuriyami replied.
"So... you'll just run for the rest of your lifetime? And that of the mortal's?" Gaianox with a dying look of uncertainty questioned again.
"Not necessarily, do you remember what he told us? His final words before our separation?" Kuriyami said, approaching the crater the body of Malphas resided in.
"Yeah..." Gaianox said.
Kuriyami placed the right hand of Rai on the chest of Malphas, his eyes shone even more brightly as huge trails of shadows began leaving the demons body.

[Shadow Summoning (Level 1)]
"Till we meet again, Gaianox of the earth." Kuriyami announced, the trails of shadows that surrounded the body of Rai vanished, his eyes returned back to normal and he slumped to the floor unconscious.
At that exact moment, a slight crack which left a small hole in the fabric of reality occurred. From that hole emanated a tremendous presence which left several ripples in reality itself. A huge figure descended from the crack in the sky, the ground trembling almost like an earthquake was happening. The figure possessed characteristics similar to Malphas, the only difference. The huge difference in power.
It turned it's head and faced his accomplice who had been killed, shaking it's head in disappointment. "That human, managed to defeat Malphas?" It questioned with a slight hint of disbelief. It approached Gaianox who had already accepted his fate. "I sensed two Essenbeasts, and yet I only find one? No matter, I'll just have to come back for the other one." With a distorted voice, it proclaimed.
It stretched it's right hand forward, holding a triangular shaped prism within that hand. "Seal." With a single word, the prism glowed and began sucking Gaianox completely into it. In the blink of an eye, it had sealed Gaianox within the prism.
"That makes eight, soon enough our ambitions and plan will be made into reality." With a sense of accomplishment, it levitated into the air and like a stream of light; it passed through the crack in the sky which disappeared afterwards. Ignoring the humans who were either unconscious or near death.
